Great service. Great history and even better ambiance As a former service member the meaning behind the bar itself hits a little more but still a great place to grab a drink or 6 after a nice long day or a deployment.

Great last of its kind dive bar where Charlie Sheen once pretended to be shit faced as opposed to now where he intends to never again be anything but faced. Word to the wise; don't bullshit or embellish your military service in this place or anywhere in the seven cities unless you're looking to be put on blast. Absolutely, the worst area in perhaps the entire United States to do that crap, but a constant issue. Also for the love of god no more " Thank you for your service" actually, don't even bring the military up. The food is excellent and I swear the club & French dip protect against hangovers. If pool is your thing, you can almost always count on a few good sticks being in there; APA rules seem to be preferred. You're gonna leave this place smelling like a bar complete with cigarettes stink, but it won't kill you Given the severe lack of shared human experiences, we now have on planet Earth come with a friend and bitch about your olfactory experience together! Every town has a brewery, every town has a cookie cutter hipster bar, every town has an overpriced, upscale nightclub, but only this town has Fran's Ready Room; a dive worth the drive.

Stopped in on karaoke night to have a couple drinks with my wife and play some pool.The had the karaoke by the front door so people singing/watching were pretty much blocking the exit.We decided to leave because I guess the locals were getting rowdy. I had given my card to start a tab and paid the tab in cash when we left, which was 24$. I paid 30$ total with the tip. 2 days later I see the 24$ charge on my card..(which is now 44$) I call and call to try and take care of this.. the bartenders pick up and leave the phone on the counter.. wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.!

Yo brah, I watch the buckeyes up in here, that is really all that matters. The foods aight, beer is awesome American selection of all sorts of budweisers, and some random Mexican cerveza stuff. Patrons are hilariously incoherent which is always fun. I love the staff, except for that Michigan loving server... Only because she from Michigan though, other than that she aight, now I gotta pass out I drank tooMuch and had turkey samwich dawg

This is a true dive bar. "Ice", the bar tender is great, he's very accommodating and provides excellent service. It's small and smoky inside and it's definitely a local spot but you get an authentic dive bar experience. Darts, two pool tables and a juke box available.

Nice neighborhood bar. Met a few fake vets. Got no support from the management when I called them out. Actually got barred. Just don't support that type of place. Guess they need the business. Cool place to hang if you can deal with that type of place.

Great atmosphere. Kinda nice for what I consider a dive bar. The stories and pictures on the walls are worth the trip.
