Rancho Grande

I hadn't eaten at Rancho Grande in several years as it is quite a ways from where I live. Nothing has changed! The food was the best Mexican foodI have had in years, the service was perfect, the price was right, and theatmosphere is exactly what you would expect. The difference, I believe,is that this is a family owned operation. The taco chips to start wereserved warm and delicious! You won't be disappointed!

First this is not Mexican food BUT it is a solid TexMex restaurant. We came for an early dinner. Service was ok. We got a cheeseburger kids meal, California Burrito, their meat and cheese dip, and Fajitas Fries (carne asada fries but with their Fajita mix/odd but ok) Their asada meat is very well seasoned, but like the service the food itself was just ok.

This place has awesome food! And their margaritas are delicious! That staff is very friendly and make you feel welcomed. The place is very clean and well maintained. My only complaint would be that the restaurant feels more western than it does Mexican but it won't stop me from coming back.

Some girlfriends and I got together at Rancho Grande on a Wednesday evening. Around 9:00 pm, the place was mostly empty considering they close at 10. I ordered the classic Nachos, one of us ordered a side of beans to enjoy with the chips, and 3 others ordered Classic Margaritas with salt (I am a sugar rim lady). All the margs were finished by the end of our time together, which told me they were yummy! Our nachos were tasty but the chips were pretty soggy. We ended up supplementing with the table chips. The white sauce at this restaurant is DIVINE. If you are from the DMV, you know you need a good white sauce (not queso!!!) with your chips and salsa. This one is tangy, salty and sweet, creamy, and downright delicious. I'd come back here just for the chips and salsa! The salsa was smokey tasting, and just needed a hint of salt. I loved the decorations the restaurant had everywhere - the colorful crepe paper definitely brought in the right vibes. Everything seemed clean and taken care of. It was a good experience!

Rancho Grande has been a staple in my life for as long as I can remember. Even though I no longer live in the area I always make it a point to have a meal here while I'm in town. Besides the memories I've had here, the friendly staff and delicious food keep me coming back. My favorites are the fajitas and the burrito loco. The guacamole and Chile relleno are just okay. I love the chips because they are served warm without a lot of salt which I like because I'm watching my sodium intake. My sons experienced their very first deep fried ice cream here and now they are hooked. If you are in the mood for a good meal in a cozy environment check them out.

Love Rancho, family owned, great service, staple in the community, been going there since I was a teen, they have my favorite cheese dip and flavorful fajitas (been to a couple of other popular Mexican spots where they weren't seasoned at all). My husband loves the Taco salad too!

First, the service was very good. I use to love this place but after yesterday I don't think I'll be back. We had a table of 13 and all of us thought it was crappy. I especially didn't like the black hair in my white sour cream on top of my meal. Waiter had to have seen it. Chicken nachos..chicken, chips, lettuce, sour cream and guacamole. No nothing else. A guest said steak burrito tasted like bad frozen meat. Very disappointed.

Best nachos, but honestly, everything I have eaten is amazing. They have, hands dow, the best salsa as well.

Food, Service, Ambience. If you are considering Mexican food keep scrolling or driving past this place. Staff unfriendly, food tasteless and unseasoned.Do yourself a favor and keep going
