Deep inside I was wishing for aBetter experience than my last time!zOne of my clients suggested we eat here!When you walk up , it's kinda of hard to see anything because the door is filthy .!Decided to shrug it off and hope for the best!Limited buffet- I tried to taste most of everything All and all the food was good!Lots of heat which I love. I would be cautious if your not a spicy food person chicken garlic thighs was not good at all dry I would guess it was several days old.It takes effort to make a thigh dry and hard What kills this place for me is how filthy it is!The table was a sticky mess with left over food,There is food and what not on the floors!Then tables and chairs are mix matched, the booth we were sat in was broken!My host/server was a one and done Dropped off water at the beginning and then disappeared.I literally had to walk up to him to get our check Luckily for me this client said when we left "Sorry that lunch was so Bad "I probably should have informed of previous experience, but I wasn't sure if they had been be beforeTo be honest I think I'd rather lose a client than to eat here again

my friends, my husband, and i all tried this place last night. the food was outstanding, snd the service was divine. we all said we would definitely return. i love that you can order any item off the menu and spice it up as much (or as little) as you like.

Another amazing delivery using grub hub for a delicious meal from Punjabi Rasoi Indian Cuisine! Ordered the Butter Chicken, medium spice level, extra sauce for dipping the Naan Bread. The sauce was so flavorful and the perfect heat level. The chicken was tasty, tender and plentiful! This was the Perfect post snow meal on a cold night! So glad this Indian Cuisine is so close to home. Grub Hub was right on time too'.

I saw the grand opening sign and had to stop. I called my order in and it was done in about 10 minutes. When I walked in the gentleman looked at me kinda weird before acknowledging me. I don't know what that was about, but ok. The other gentleman was a bit nicer, I'm assuming he's the owner. He answered my question about the menu and I was on my way. I ordered the samosa chaat with extra yogurt and mint chutney. The portion was decent for $8.50 plus tax. I usually get my samosa chaat from Tamarind and they use a tomato based sauce. But theirs was a little different. It was a tan colored sauce and didn't taste like tomato. I personally wasn't a fan of the flavors for some reason. It was some mystery seasoning that overpowered the dish and left an aftertaste. I can't recommend this dish, but I will give them another chance and try something else. I'm sure they have other tasty options. There's plenty to choose from on the menu and the prices seemed reasonable.The restaurant has seating to dine in and it was clean.The decor is vibrant and colorful!! There weren't many people inside. I'm assuming because they just opened. I wish them luck with their new business!! 3 stars!! Check them out!!!

This is a cute restaurant, very colorful decor and extremely polite, friendly and accommodating staff.The table setting is very ethnic with the colorful quilted table cover protected by glass. Their plates are blue stoneware and table napkins in lighter blue hue. The owner even remembered my friend as patrons of their first location in Norfolk. Glad business is great for them to expand to this location. I ordered methi chicken. It was slightly too salty on its own but better with the basmati rice. I actually like the complex taste compared to my typical butter chicken order. Garlic naan is always delicious.

This is the best Indian restaurant I have ever tried! The lamb was so tender and flavorful, with no trace of gaminess. The portions were generous, ideal for sharing between two people. My husband had the butter chicken, while I opted for the lamb masala and Punjabi lamb platter. Our server was attentive and accommodating, ensuring that our needs were met throughout the meal. The ambiance was also pleasant and contemporary.

Well overdue review. This was a late dinner for us, but glad we caught it while the kitchen was still open for the night. My sister & I were deliriously hungry. It turned out to be the best (IMO- obviously) Indian food I've had in a long time. No question & no over hype. We ordered some appetizers & an entree to share. Gobi ManchurianMedium spice level, Punjabi Platter, Chilli chicken (app), Butter chicken(D) & Punjabi Indian tea, & lemongrass jasmine ice tea. All of it was flavorful. I had to ask the gentleman if the spice levels were American spicy so I could more accurately gauge the spice level I could handle. I love spicy but cannot handle the heat. I ordered the Goat biryani (D) to go for my husband. Everything was so flavorful! I was informed they do a lunch buffet during the week. I would love to go back and try the buffet sometime! This has to be my new favorite Indian restaurant! I haven't had outstanding food in a long time.

This restaurant was highly recommended by a fellow yelper and she was right. The place is large, interior decoration is beautiful and authentic and it is clean. They have a party area with a bar that you can rent. It's a great place for a large party. The place also have an outside dining area which is nice. As soon as we get in, we were met by Ms. Kumal, a very pleasant, beautiful and helpful host. She helped us order what we want and she is a host of knowledge for this place. She made our experience here pleasant that I want to come back without even tasting the food yet. I had a Mango lassi, her recommendation and that is a a very tasteful and refreshing drink. The lintel soup came and is full of flavor and taste so good. The food came fast and the serving is very generous. We ordered a salmon tikka Masala that is so exotic and delicious . We also ordered a Kabab sampler and it came looking so delicious and is a large serving. Every bit so delicious. Word of caution: we ordered mild but it still came with a little kick although it's manageable because we were enjoying the meal. All in all, our experience is excellent and deserving another comeback. Thank you Auntie Kamal for spoiling us. What a treat this is. We really enjoyed this place and the staff.

Wanted something a little different than our usual fare for date night, so my wife and I went to Punjabi Rasoi on the recommendation of a friend.The food was delicious! Their mulligatawny soup was the best I've ever had, hands-down! We had a spicy cauliflower appetizer that was very flavorful. For the main courses, we ordered chicken Tikka Masala and lamb Shahi Karachi Kadhai---both were perfectly spiced. And I want to stress that the spice was more than just heat (which they'll adjust according to your preference), but a rich mix of spice flavors that really brought the dishes alive.Our waiter seemed new and probably in training, and he had a couple of questions/errors; but the owner was always right behind him to make sure that things went smoothly, and overall they did. At the end of the night, the owner made sure we'd had a pleasant dining experience, and she brought small servings of rice pudding to cap off a wonderful meal.We were pleased to find such great tasting Indian cuisine in such an unassuming spot on the edge of a shopping center. And we will certainly be back.

I had a really great experience when I tried out this restaurant a few days ago. The employees were incredibly friendly. They even gave me a free appetizer and dessert. The butter chicken curry with garlic naan was very good. I definitely plan on going back soon!
