Who needs a GOLF COURSE? Open it up to the public for EVERYONE TO USE! Just a suggestion, since we all pay TAXES on it in on way or the other...

This was a nice little golf course. I played here with some family in a church tournament. The head pro gave a little speech before play started and was very personable towards everyone. The course was in pretty decent shape considering how little rain had fallen in the weeks leading up to the tournament. I for one really enjoyed the course layout. There were 450 yard long straight holes, dog-leg right, dog-leg left, and long par 3's. Just a really nice variety of golf holes.I'd definitely recommend playing here if you've got a free morning or afternoon to swing a bit.

Best course for the money! $28 for 18 and that includes the cart! The course is fairly straight forward on the front but has some challenges on the back. You can tell they are working to improve the conditions! What really makes the course is Coley, the pro and manager who is just great! He is so welcoming and because we stayed at the Bud's Inn, we got a discount! Woot! And a $2 beer after the round was a nice way to celebrate. The thing I would like to see: actual forward tee boxes (please); the tee areas are well maintained but a little lift would be lovely. I was happy to see the gold tees are rated for women so I will play them next time. But again, for the price, this is the best deal in town. an added bonus - I finished 18 in 3h 15.

Let me preface this with I am an average golfer with reasonable standards. That being said, this was the worst course by far out of the three I played locally (also Cardinal was decent and Dogwood Trace was the best). The staffers were friendly. Half the greens were decent. That's where my positive comments end. I would not only like my 25 bucks back for the awful conditions on the course, I would like about 5 grand for a chiropractor for all the bumps I endured on the poorly maintained cart paths. Sandy patches abound, the turf is poor and tough to hit from, and no fairway type grass to speak of. Tee boxes were garbage. Boring course layout with little creativity. Some ball washes were dried out. Stay away. Go play Dogwood for 20$ and you will be happy you did.

Played a couple of weeks ago on the very first cold day of the year. The course is much improved and is a great deal. I think we played $20 or $25. You cannot beat the experience for the money.

An absolute disappointment. The fairways are in terrible shape. There is no organization for tee-offs. Reservations are not honored. There is conflict for tee times with Golf Now and Golf 18. It's a free-for-all at the first tee, and goes down hill from there. Next time I'll play a real golf course. . .
