The condo was large, airy and quiet. Check in was late as our plane from Orlando was delayed. We were welcomed and checked in. The concierge gave us a "welcome package" which only consisted of brochures from area. He also invited us to VIP gathering on Sunday morning- or in other words a hard pitch time share pitch. Told him we already owned Diamond Resort property, but it did not deter them. We unplugged our phones as i knew they were going to call us to coerce us into attending a "VIP" event. We had lots of space, even though dining table is too large for the space, so you have to squeeze in for meals. Having to pay for "amenities" has always been a complaint of mine. We didn't use them but still have to pay $23 extra a day! In the spring/summer it would make sense, but the weather was cool to cold so we didn't use at all. And the staff is definitely geared to hard sell time share sales. Every time I plugged in phone someone was calling! We came for "Christmas" with family NOT to buy a tIme share. We were offered week vacation, 4 day cruise, free dinner at local restaurants- NO! It ruins the vacation to have to avoid hard sell. Otherwise we enjoyed, great location, close to lots to do and shopping for necessities.

Quick trip to meet family from out of town and the hotel showed up in our Hilton App so I told my fam to stay here based on Google reviews. They stayed 3 nights, we stayed one. We are all Hilton Gold through Amex Platinum so we enjoy staying at Hilton for the perks. I normally book at B&Bs in Wburg since they are so nice but with family with kids that's not an option. Pros: - Very nice Hilton Representative at front desk- My husband and my King Size suite was upgraded to a very large 2 bedroom suite with a gorgeous pond view- We arrived at 1pm and they were able to get us into the room directly above my family whom were already here- Super clean bathtub, toilets and fridge. Floors and bed clean. - Windows can be opened and screened in for a nice breezeCons:- other than the upgrade no other Hilton perks are offered which for gold is normally bottles of water and breakfast vouchers for 2. These are 2 simple offerings they could have provided for Hilton Honor Gold members since they have an on site restaurant and quite honestly it's very affordable out of pocket so it wouldn't be "breaking the bank" to provide to Hilton members who enjoy and book for perks - Other than machine in the room, coffee not offered on property for free, there is a coffee shop- As spacious and clean the overall room is, counters did not appear to be dusted or wiped down. With the pollen season already in action it really added to my already watery eyes and allergies This is a very large property. If you are staying for a long period of time this could be ideal. For people who like luxury and ease of room service etc. No. Pool- my family with 2 kids tried to go. They said it was entirely too small and too crowded. Not necessarily the resorts fault but this is a large property, maybe more pools? All this said, would I stay here again? For this very nice room, and if I were staying with family for a few days, Yes. For the same price and Hilton perks and overall convenience at other hotels nearby, No.

We'd been coming to this resort for close to 20 years. Unfortunately in that time the customer service from Powhatan and Diamond Resorts has devolved from decent to atrocious. We were registered as guests from my grandfather who has a timeshare, but the staff would not let us check in, even though my grandfather had called the day before to confirm that we'd be accepted.Instead, they insisted my 85-year old grandfather come to the resort in person to confirm we were who we said we were. Needless to say, any resort that requires such a convoluted process for staying as guests is more trouble than it's worth.Additionally, the quality of the units has fallen by the wayside. We often come upon broken appliances (like the fireplace) and sunken furniture. All in all, it really isn't worth the money and any loyalty to a business would be more appreciated at a local hotel, possibly even from an Airbnb. Overpriced, underwhelming, and deeply unappreciative of customers. What else is there to say?

I have a lot to say but Will try to keep IT short. Found hotel online, booked directly PROS: big rooms perfect for families with kids. I wanted a lower level bc my kids like to run. The room comes equiped with a full kitchen, washer/dryer 2 rooms, living room dining room, patio, green room, 2 bathrooms and towels. Good location close to many Restaurants and shopping centers, If you are like me you Will be happy to know there is a PUBLIX 5min away!! Cons: when you check in they put a $ 100 hold on your card for incidentals, charge room and then tell you to go to consierge for a "gift" the gift is them setting up an appointment to their timeshare sales team! They talk sooooooo fast that you have no time to talk, they offer the moon. Check out is at 10am, If you agree to sales picth checkout is at 12pm The room: very outdated, couches are súper gross, carpet needs an update just looks dirty and way too many insects inside the apt., And worse part is their sales team. Súper pushy, still use old school tactics trying to intimatade you. If their product is so good they should tone IT down. I was sold but they kept pushing And that just made me upset! You Will loose 3 hours of your life. For a free week ( is not free u still pay for a fee) overall, is an ok place. Didnt checkout the pool but IT looked packed, is a huge property, worth while if you dont mind being hassled by sales people.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night while visiting the area. The grounds were well kept and our accommodations were spacious. When we checked in we got a welcome bag and they overbooked our room so we got a bigger room which was great. Overall, we had a great experience and we will be back!

Checking in was an absolute nightmare. Staff was full, but the pace that they moved at, because they were trying to upsell their packages, was unbearable. I was just 6th in line, and it took 45 minutes to get to a staff member, and an additional nearly 15 minutes turning down offers. The room was nice, but I was just completely turned off by the checking in ordeal. The restaurant that's on site was just horrible food wise, although the staff was great in customer service. I wouldn't visit this particular resort again, nor would I recommend it.

We stayed here in June 2016 and had a graduation party here for my Niece. It was so nice. We have been coming here for years and it is very nice. I am so glad they don't have as many swans around because those little things were nasty! But they had grills we could use and our condo was very nice. It's absolutely beautiful here!

My daughter and I decided to stay at this resort for a mother-and-daughter getaway weekend. We were running late due to terrible weather so I called ahead to let the front desk staff know so that my reservation wouldn't be canceled. Laura answered the phone and was extremely rude when I asked her to check and see if my reservation had been canceled. I explained to her that I was coming from really far away and that I didn't want any surprises when I got there. Laura huffed and puffed and said I have another guest in front if me. I immediately told her that I could wait while she took care of the person in front of her. She placed me on hold without notice and a few minutes later a gentleman answered the phone and I explained to him that I was trying to obtain information about my reservation. He gave me the information and advised me that he would put do not auto cancel reservation on my reservation. When I reached the resort Laura helped me. She was rude as can be, even my 13-year-old daughter could see how rude she was. I asked Laura why I was being charged twice for my resort fees and instead of her explaining why she said "I don't know, but I have to charge you, so do you want to stay here" I was so shocked that she was so rude I said, of course, I drove really far and I was tired. She charged me and I asked for the manager's name, she gave it to me and I wrote it down. Laura then gave me my room number. I asked her where my room was located and without a word she slammed a map on the counter circled my room and said nothing at all. I was confused as I had never been on the premises and wasn't sure which way I should go leaving out of the parking lot but I took my chances and figured it out by trial and error. When we reached the room we noticed that the room was extremely outdated and smelled old, the carpet was dirty and the floors squeaked terribly. I will never stay here again and if I were you I would look elsewhere.
