We recently visited Potts 'N Paints (PNP) to celebrate a birthday. The birthday girl requested painting so PNP seemed like just the right place! The shop is pretty spacious, lengthwise. As soon as you walk in, you will see several shelving units of many ceramic projects of all different themes and sizes on the left, with tables in the middle and right side and cash out desk in the back corner. If you walk down the passage a little bit, it'll lead you to the paint area. I didn't walk all the way back, but I am assuming that leads to the party rooms as several people were led back there during our visit. The kids picked their projects and then one of their staff members, led them to the paint bar and explained the different kinds of paints and gave them some tips on how to use the paint and tools.Things to note:- You pay a studio fee plus the cost of the item (most things have price tags on the bottom of the item)- they claim to be the only open paint bar in the area. They let you use as much paint as you want, so be mindful and don't be wasteful- they have some options for drinks and snacks, although very limited, but I guess this can come in handy if you end up being there for awhile and get carried away with painting (drinks and snacks were very inexpensive)- you must go back at a later date to pick up the projects, so they can fire them up and glaze them.- they also have non-ceramic items for you to paint like canvas and woodThe turnaround was very quick! Not sure if it was a slower time or if it's because we didn't have that many people in our party, but the items were ready in just a few days! I was so surprised when they called. Underpromise and overdeliver is always a smart business practice. Great place to pass the time and "make" something of your own.Stay safe, Friends!

They also accommodate for a kids party $250 for party Room for 10kids and if you gonna add just pay for the piece! You can bring foods and decorations but they a party package $125 (pizza, chips, drinks and decorations like balloons)Today the kids really had fun also the staff are so patient to teach you what to do and give you what you need! When a business opens at 11, you would expect that the employee(s) would be at the front, waiting to greet customers. I got there and a sign said "I'm in the back, shout out when you arrive". I shouted 5-6 times before someone finally came to the front. Then I told the girl I had a piece of pottery from another pottery place. The only reason I was coming to PnP was because it was closer to my house and I wouldn't have to pay a toll to go pick up my piece of pottery at the other place, when my pottery was ready. The girl immediately questioned me on where I obtained my pottery piece (a miniature tiger). I told her it was another pottery place. She then told me that they don't accept pottery from outside the store and that she'd need to call the owner. After five minutes I said "f-it" and walked out and took my business elsewhere.1) looking around the store, they should welcome pottery from outside. Their inventory was quite low, and not a lot to be desired.2) just add a fee for pottery from outside the store and move on with it.. why do you need to call the owner? Or if you don't take outside pottery just stick to that choice. Don't make a customer wait.3) if an employee really needs to be in the back room doing something, then maybe the owner should have two people working so someone is always in the front so customers aren't required to SHOUT to get someone's attention.Never going here again. I'll stick to paying the toll to go to Glazenfyre.

We had a great time here on a rainy Saturday. The kids really enjoyed picking their piece and choosing the glazes to creat their "masterpieces". I was a little surprised at the price...it was $120+ for 4 of us and we picked pretty small modest pieces. We would definitely do this again if it were a bit more affordable.

Ok, whilst this place seems very clean and the personnel were welcoming; my family was caught offguard by their "hidden fees". Not to say that their pottery wasn't reasonable, but out of nowhere there was a "Pay to sit and use our paint" fee which was going to run around $20 before we even started. I'm sorry, we've been to establishments like this before and normally would pay about $30-$40 total... This was going to run is from $60-$100 easily...Recommendation would be to list and state your prices on your website for the future.

I've been coming here with both my own children and my work children (summer daycare camp) for years and I definitely recommend them! Their prices are reasonable, their facility is clean, and Tammie the owner is wonderful! They have a wide assortment of things to paint anywhere from small figurines to large garden decoration. They offer different classes, ladies night, birthday parties, and other fun events!

My college age kids were home and looking for something to do during the covid19 situation. We took advantage of the take home box and had such a great time sitting together and painting. I thought prices were pretty reasonable for this take home box, and Marissa was so helpful! Don't totally get the review where someone was upset that they didn't take outside pottery. It would seem like a liability to do so without making sure it was the right kind of paint etc. To each their own, we will definitely do it again!

I took my daughters (9 & 7) for one of their birthdays. It was awesome! Very relaxed atmosphere that encourages customers to enjoy their time painting pottery. Each person pays a sitting fee that allows unlimited use of their paint and painting materials. Then, you just pick items off their shelves (each are individually priced), paint it, pay for it, and they fire glaze it over the next few days. The selection of items and paints was huge, although some items seemed a little over priced. The owner/operator will help guide you and provide paint recommendations, if desired. I streamed music through my phone while we painted, without headphones, and they were fine with it.The cost for the three of us to paint five [small] items total was around $80. Their prices resulted in 4 stars instead of 5.
