Port Messick Marina

What a find! It's not just a boat launch, it's a great park! From what I've found online the Messick Point Landing was updated and improved around 2005. There's a couple of launches available and 4 piers. Enough parking for a fleet both in the well lighted parking lot and pier side. The entire place is also handicapped accessible. The facility is also open 24 hours and there are no fees. In addition the spacious property houses the Poquoson Yacht Club, a private boating club that anyone can join, and a restaurant called Bull Island BBQ that I'll be checking out in the future. This is a great place to spend the afternoon with your family, friends or even your dog. Check it out.
