I love this festival. It has everything. *Crafts, you can start your Christmas shopping. What a wide variety. * Artist , a great variety and award winning. My favorite artist was there. Reba. Pictures are included. Food was great and they had a huge area with tables and chairs. Really a nice set up. They had 2 stages with live music. Also loved the games. Both games you played everyone won a prize. They had a few rides. At night all day he rides have lights making the rides even better. Parking was 10 dollars cash but they made parking super easy and the staff were so helpful and kind

Oh my goodness...I have truly been missing out! This was my 1st year going (October 21) after much convincing from my twin sister. Let's just say, I was not disappointed! My family and I had a great time! There was so much things and activities to do with the kids! Live entertainment and so on. But can I be honest, it was the food for me! It was sooooooo darn good! Graham and Rollins Seafood was where we decided to dine! It was so many food trucks to choose from but again my sister insisted to give it a try! My oh my...what a great choice! The seafood platter was huge. Two of us shared a platter and we still had leftovers. I plan on going every year; it was so worth the drive! Until next time...

This was my first time visiting the town of Poquoson and what a welcome it was. Parking for the Seafood Festival costs $5 and there were a few different places to chose from. The set up was great. There was a stage for musical performances on an open field along with a couple of bounce houses, slide, and a ride. The tickets for these were $1.25 each. Bounce house took 2 tickets. There was a food pavilion where all of the food vendors were set up. Tons of choices and I thought the prices were reasonable for a festival. I got a crab cake sandwich with fries for $9.In the back, surrounded by trees, were the crafts tables. It was a lovely setting to walk through. They had pretty lights hanging for when it got dark.I highly recommend checking out this little festival. A big shout out to fellow yelper Jim B. for letting me know about it. He is my first yelp meet. :)

I had the great pleasure of visiting the Poquoson Seafood Festival today. It was awesome. The lay out of the fest is great. A big area of tables in the middle with great food booths all around. The variety of food was amazing. There were Soft Shell Crabs, Crab Cakes, Crab Dip in bread bowls, Shrimp on a stick, Fried Shrimp, Flounder, Mahi Mahi, Scallops, Alligator, Crawfish, Smoked Turkey legs, Gyros and Greek Salads, Barbeque, Roasted Corn, Oriental Chicken on a stick, French Fries, Sausage and Peppers, and much more. There were 2 stages for bands and the music was great. A local high school band opened up playing the National Anthem and that was moving and they did a great job.The arts and crafts were fascinating with a lot that I'ld like to have. Plenty of Nautical things that I like. There was a wide variety of items that are made by very talented people. It stretches out along a wooded section on paths with lights and looked cool. This was one of the best Festivals I've been to. I wish I was not working Sat and Sun or I'd be heading back for both days.I also had the great pleasure of meeting Carissa K (a local Yelper) and her awesome family and that made this outing even more enjoyable. I hope more Yelpers attend over the weekend - I'm looking forward to see the pics and reviews and tips.

We went Saturday evening and it was a little chilly but I think because of the weather parking was a breeze and we got a spot really close. I highly recommend going after dark because the way they have the lights strung up on all the trees really makes the atmosphere. It was beautiful and so many outstanding crafts/vendors! I had to hold onto my wallet tightly as not to go on an extreme spending spree. The food smelled AMAZING and the lines were definitely pretty long for the food stands that must have been the best. We ended up not even eating any food because we weren't that hungry (silly I know) but I've heard the food is great! I'll definitely return next year when it's not so cold!

The seafood is great but the lines and traffic make it an ordeal. Be prepared to spend an hour plus on Poquoson 's 4 mile 2 lane road into the city.

Plenty of folk art and food vendors. parking was great, even though it cost $5, should be free since its about getting people out to support and see the local businesses. Lots of local vendor information, not as many rides as I expected. Would have given more stars, but the prices on seafood was extremely overpriced. I paid $22 for some fish platter that had three pieces of fish size of a child's hand, soggy fries and a bit of coleslaw. $10 for 6 pieces of fried oysters and decent fries.
