took me weeks to get an appointment w an "oral surgeon" that allegedly took medicaremy appointment was at 10:00 am it was after 11:30 am when he finally saw me. x-rays clearly showed that i have a number of assessed teeth == whatever teeth i have left. my friend went w me to the appointment. the dentist led both my friend & i to believe that medicare would cover the extractions & implants. i could then set up a payment plan to get dentures. we were told i would have to speak to "dustin" concerning an appointment w the dentist that would make the dentures. we then had to wait a long time to see dustin.dustin did not talk about the denture appointment all he wanted to know was how i planned to pay the $1,000's for the extractions i would also need to pay out of pocket for the dentures. i do not have the $$$$. i am left to suffer the rest of my life w dental pain & mouth pain. needless to say === i was furious.once in the car i called the dental board to file a complaint for false advertising bc his online ad & what he told my friend & i contradicted reality. the dental board said he should not be doing the extractions or implants === his license to practice dentistry | oral surgery was revoked. they said he is practicing dentistry | oral surgery using his medical licence [md] & he is under investigation for doing this. they would not say why his oral surgery | dental license was revoked but said, "it can be found online" when i got home i looked it up oral surgeon's dental license revoked after patient's deathby anne [email protected] 05, 2016 04:55 pm,updated august 07, 2016 11:51 pm carythe n.c. state dental board of examiners ruled last week that a wake county oral surgeon should not be allowed to practice dentistry in north carolina after "contributing or causing the death" of one of his patients in 2014.the board, in a discipline order signed july 28, revoked the dental license of john s. won, an oral surgeon who works primarily in cary.won, who was licensed to practice dentistry in this state in 2001, also has a medical license in north carolina that remains active.according to the dental board order, won failed to do an adequate examination or provide adequate care to a man who came to his office on feb. 23, 2010, to have teeth pulled. the man died within 48 hours of the surgery.
