Pollard's Chicken

I love good fried chicken, I will admit that. Pollard's Chicken is fantastic. I have been a loyal customer for many years and I can't recommend them enough. The staff is so friendly and helpful, the food is consistently great and their prices are very reasonable. This is my go to place for the comfort food that I enjoy. I want to be clear that I LOVE Pollards Chicken..... I also have to admit that this has more to do with the nostalgia of childhood then the current state of the food. The food is generally hit or miss as is the service. Sometimes they are happy and smiling and others they are borderline rude. I would recommend eating in. You can get to go but it's generally better if you eat it there. The food doesn't travel super well. One pro tip- puffs.... Get them, eat them and slather them with honey.

We made an order in the morning for 5:45 pm. We are still here at 6:12 and don't have our order. Kickoff is 17 minutes and we aren't sure if we will have food for our Super Bowl party. Horrible. First and last time ordering from here. 3 people working the register and one person and the manager making food.

I had lunch from Pollards Chicken in Great Bridge recently. I've been working from home for months, as have many of us, and just needed something different. I didn't feel like driving out. The lunch hour is to short for the drive there and back, so to maximize my hour I had the meal delivered via DoorDash. I ordered the 4-Piece Chicken meal which comes with a breast, thigh, wing and drumstick. Along with that 2 sides and a couple of puffs. Sides were mashed potatoes with their chicken gravy and fried okra. The meal arrived very quickly after the driver picked it up and was still hot upon delivery. I enjoyed half of it for lunch and the other half for dinner. Zero complaints. I'm looking forward to having some more Pollards soon. Especially their chicken gravy. It's amazing.

They have two yelp sites to even out the bad reviews??I called the following day and was told someone would get back to me...thank God I wasn't holding my breath.

Excellent service by the team! Especially, the mother and daughter duo! I brought a group of ladies from our Senior Living community and all them said (including me) that was the best Chicken and Mac n' Cheese they have had in a loooooong time! We will be adding this to our list of regular places to go for lunch! Bravo!

Ordered the five wings, baked beans and Mac and cheese. I have to say I'm a little disappointed. The last time I had pollards chicken was on the food truck on the naval base that was on point with seasoning on the chicken. This location was just bland no seasoning at all just fried. The beans were good. The mac and cheese, Kraft tastes better. Sorry but there won't be a next time for me.

First time customer, but it will not be my last! The chicken was delicious! Fresh and hot. My sweet potato fries were done exactly the way I love them . The restaurant itself is very clean and the staff are friendly. Can't wait to bring my family to this place!

Holy lord. Disgusting. His place I sincerely believe gave me food poisoning a couple years back. I attempted to give them another try recently and got some nasty food. Chicken tastes OK but the salad had MOLD in it. The pie looked like it was thrown at the wall and then put in my bag. And everything was cold. Not to mention I had to go back and get the food that they forgot to bag up when the initially gave me the order and I drove off, come to check - half of the food is missing. This place probably needs a complete overhaul or just needs to be shut down.

Service was awful, the counter and back kitchen staff was yelling at each other like it was a play ground, then the counter staff was like I was bothering him, after my order he and back staff was joking about my order of Okra. The whole staff was awful like a play ground no one in charge or took control of staff.
