Great place to buy all different peanut flavors. There are samples of almost everything sitting out for you to try. Each type of flavor has a couple sizes of cans for purchase. They even have jarred boiled peanuts. There are multiple spicey selections, candied selections and chocolate covered.Nice break from a road trip.

I came here after my regular peanut store was closed for an extended period. I liked this place. It was a pretty good size with lots of different kinds of peanuts - maybe about 15. They also have free samples of each kind. Each flavor of peanut is available in multiple sizes - 10 oz can/16 oz bag for about $10, larger (24 oz?) can for like $16 and a smaller can for maybe $7 or so. In addition to the peanuts they have some jams, jellies, salsas, and things like this. Honestly, I liked their selection of peanuts better than the Virginia Diner's across the street. I got some of the Cajun, salt and pepper, and maple and bacon peanuts; almost got some of the southern bbq flavor. I would recommend coming here.

Definitely my favorite place to stop at when I'm in this area. The selections of peanuts are exciting. Not only do they have amazing flavors of peanuts but they also have wine and large and small country hams. The peanut flavors variety from lemon pepper crab, chocolate covered, salt & pepper, just to name a few. They are kinda pricy but well worth it. Give it a try.

Great selection of peanuts. Salted. Unsalted. Chocolate. Plain. Brittle. Whole.The lemon pepper is great for the seafood lover. Chocolate covered peanuts or raisins are perfect for the chocolate lover. Apple cinnamon? Yep ...you can find that too.Best of all....each are available for sample before you purchase.

My favorite place to stop along route 460 in Wakefield - lots of different flavors of peanuts, from regular salted to honey roasted and chocolate covered and plenty of spiced peanuts in between. Super friendly staff, free samples of all of their flavors, and they also carry some Virginia wines and other goods. I've tried a lot of peanut places in the region and this is by far my favorite!

Gorgeous peanuts, although they his is a really small town, this people don't mess around with their peanuts. BEST PEANUTS I HAVE EVER HAD!

Excellent selection and I appreciate the bag version when not buying a gift, because there's no need to pay for expensive packaging. Their canned items are also reasonably priced. Staff has always been nice and helpful!

Sorry(NOT) Virginia Diner. This will forever be my peanut gift shop stop! Parked at Virginia Diner fully expecting to go in and grab some Christmas gifts. We spotted this little treasure right across the street and got curios so we ran across, entered, the rest is history!

This is the place to go for peanuts! You walk into the bight, immaculately clean shop, and are immediately greeted and told to try any flavor you want. And there are so many flavors to try! Of course they're fresh and crunchy, but they have spicy, sweet, and even crab flavored peanuts. (Couldn't bring myself to try those.) The jalapeño flavor shines through, with just enough heat to keep you reaching for them. They also have a section with chocolate covered nuts and even chocolate covered peanut brittle. Prices are reasonable, and there are multiple size options and gift packs. The shop is an easy drive from the Jamestown/Scotland ferry, and a pleasant way to spend some time. It's a great stop.

I happened upon Plantation Peanuts years ago. Perusing the showroom, I was invited by bowls and tiny spoons to sample any and all for which I had a taste. My only complaint pertained to the size of the spoons. The variety of nuts and flavors would make a full review an all-day affair. The staff were friendly and helpful. Naturally, I stopped on nearly all subsequent trips to replenish my stock and have treats shipped to friends. My travels no longer regularly take me through Waverly, but via their website, I have tasty treats shipped to family, friends and business associates.
