Pittsburgh's Best Food Truck

I followed a nurse who had a bag of food that smelled so good that I talked to a stranger bahaha. She directed me to this food truck behind Sentara Bro j Center on Virginia Beach Blvd.What a blessing, a real Philly sausage with peppers and fried zucchini strips.I am so happy. Find this truck and enjoy all the options.The nurse I followed to the food truck raved about the Philly burger. It smelled so good.The customer service was great too. She was freezing while she took and distributed our orders but her happy voice through the scarf was refreshing.

I caught up with Pittsburgh's Best on the rotation of food trucks at The Garage Brewery. I think that a vegan might have some real challenges here and so did I with my keto diet, but I managed to make it work and they were accommodating.I ordered the Zucchni Sticks, which are breaded and fried. Served with a chunky marinara sauce, they were delicious. A single order is more than enough to share.For my main course, I had the salad with pastrami minus the fries. Yes, they would usually put fries on a salad because that's the Pittsburgh way. So mine was a good portion of sliced pastrami, grilled and then put on top of a large bed of lettuce and with two pots of ranch dressing.Friendly at the window and it did not take long for my buzzer to tell me that my food was ready. The Steel City Sandwich was a great taste of home! Yinz just need some big ol' pickles to serve with them.

Great selection of Pittsburgh favorites! They do it really well. I had the STEEL CITY SANDWICH with pastrami, which is served Primanti-style - delicious pastrami, provolone cheese, cole slaw, tomato, and flavorful fries stacked on thick, soft, Italian bread. All the produce was fresh and the portion was big. I had half for dinner and the other half for lunch the next day. My husband had the HOT SAUSAGE, PEPPERS AND ONIONS, served on a hoagie bun. I had a bite and it was packed with flavor, too. The biggest surprise was the STADIUM CHEESE FRIES. They have a house seasoning - they call it "O" seasoning - that I noticed on the first bite. Just delicious. And the food truck couldn't be cuter, with lots of "flavor" for Pittsburgh fans. Plus they have all the HEINZ condiments you could ever need. Can't wait to try the PEIROGIES.

The nice folks at Pittsburgh's best came to visit our business's parking lot yesterday and they left quite a few happy folks. I have not enjoyed their food since before the start of that pandemic and I am sure I will not wait that long again. I got the Pitts-Burger. It is a good burger! Your going to have to smash it down or open your mouth wider than you thought it would go to get a full bite, but you will be happy you made the stretch! My only criticism would be for the price, I would have liked some fries or chips or something to go with it. I also got the fried zucchini and broccoli cheese bites to take home. Both were good even hours later heated in the oven so I am sure they were even better fresh. A story for another day perhaps. Overall a good experience, if they come rolling your way, give them a try!

As someone that grew up in Pittsburgh, I was suspicious of this food truck because of its name, but was more than satisfied after trying the Pitts-Burgher! It was stacked high with a perfectly cooked patty, fries (the call to fame for Primanti Bros), sautéed onions, and fresh veggies. After more than a few beers at BackBay Farmhouse Brewing, the burger was exactly what I needed. I barely caught a picture before I inhaled the entire burger because it was that good. Service is fairly decent and the prices are very reasonable. Definitely going to keep frequenting this place if I see it around!

We used this food truck as part of a corporate event at Sentara. They were awesome! Arrived on time, super friendly, had a great menu selection, all employees stated their food was delicious, and they were quick and pleasant. I personally tried the zucchini fries and their regular fries. I do not usually eat fried food, but these were SO worth the splurge! The fries were hot, crispy, and just the right amount of seasoning. Wow! I am planning to book them again for future events.

i ordered the chicken philly and it was good. i got my fries on the side vs on the sandwich itself. i do feel i could've gotten a few more fries. my fiancé ordered the pittsburgher, he said it could've had a little more seasoning. i do wish i would've ordered the broccoli and cheese fritters, that did sound interesting... maybe i'll give them a try the next time

Best PittsBurger ever! Reminded me of home. Staff was wonderful and wait time was very short. Bring back the chip-chopped!

Tried these guys out at Farmhouse brewing. Orders were taken quickly and we were given a pager. Had food 5-6 minutes later. Sandwiches, fries and pierogies were all delicious. Best part is it didn't cost me 30-40 bucks to feed two people like many other food trucks.
