Pirate Parasail

*this is a cross posted review* I really wanted to take the time to shout out Pirate Parasailing. This is my 2nd time with them -- but they really went above and beyond to make sure our experience was a positive one. For starters, we had a cancellation so at last minute they worked it out to where we were able to pay a difference to let our other person go from Observer to Flyer! My mother had a stroke last month or so which effected her vision, which in turn effects her balance / way of getting around. As you could imagine walking on a moving pier, a shaky boat, and down some steps would be difficult. However, Captain Nolan, Jack, and even the other two riders that were with us REALLY went above and beyond to help my mom. They assisted her, helped her up, guided her, and really accommodated her. Our main concern was having my mom stand up on edge of the boat while we were hooked up but instead they allowed my mom to sit down and they brought the hookups to her. I could go on and on.The flight and experience itself was great! People were nice , landing and takeoff was smooth, and most importantly we felt safe! Thanks Captain Nolan, Stephen & Jack for really making my mom's FIRST experience a great one. She had a great time and enjoyed her outing. I really cant thank you enough for making her feeling comfortable and at ease. We will be back soon!

We had so much fun out on the rolling seas! Sailing high above the shore in the parachute, it was so peaceful and perfect! Once back in the boat, we got to enjoy watching the other three groups of people have their turn. Each group (couple) got to be in the air about 5 minutes, then get dipped in the water toward the end, then back up in the air before landing on the boat. The rougher the water, the more likely someone will get seasick while riding in the boat. The operators provide sick bags and have an awesome sense of humor! And a great playlist!

Had a great time parasailing here! Very awesome experience. While in the air my girlfriend spotted a shark in the water and another guest saw a turtle! Staff was laid back and knowledgeable. The mate was cool but the captain was a douche bag, I only say this because after the parasailing experience we got off the boat and left...all was fine. About 4 hours later my girlfriend and I were out riding beach cruisers and spotted him standing on the side of the road with a group of people. We waved to him and he shouted out "I TOOK YOU GUYS PARASAILING AND THATS ALL I GET!!?" I'm not even sure why he would yell that, we tipped him, thanked him and left satisfied..... but because of that he is a douche!!

Loved this company!!! The captain and the skipper were super nice and personable. The parasailing experience was amazing!!! I would recommend this company. We were out around 45 minutes or so and it was a total of 3 lifts! It was so good. I did book online in advance.

Absolutely recommend parasailing with this company!! Brain and Ben were absolutely amazing and made the experience ten times better.

The best experience ever! The folks there were so incredibly nice and it was so fun. Not a stressful thing about it - such a great time. Looking forward to doing it again!

My best friend and I have added some things to our bucket list. She said she wanted to try it so we went to this place. It was so easy to make a reservation and pay online... Ben and Brian were great.. They explained everything and they entertained us the whole time..Can't wait to do this again...

Booked a trip for my Dad and husband. I was an observer on the boat. They were very professional and kind. My Dad and husband had a fantastic time! Clean boat. Equipment looked updated and safe. They completely made me feel at ease and they knew what they were doing. My Dad and husband weren't nervous. Highly recommend

If your a tourist or just someone looking for something new to try in Virginia Beach, I highlyyyy recommend this. I did it in August and it was the perfectttt weather.. I'm going to be honest thoughhhh, you're only in the air for about 10minutes and they go by pretty quick [personally wish it was alittle longer] but the views from 1,000 ft in the air are incredible. Totally breathtaking. The boat ride is total about an hour long I'd also like to add that this is about a 3 outta 10 on the adrenaline scale. Didn't get a crazy rush, it wasn't scary at all and you don't seem that high up either

Terrible customer service! Do NOT recommend this company!We're 10 minute late due to transportation issues from cruise ship! Called ahead and were told we would get put on later boat for reservation of 10 people!Then came back and cancelled due to weather.... beautiful blue sky... no wind. Asked for contact of manager, would not give it out and would not issue refundStaff were rude were rude and not helpful!Do NOT BOOK!!1
