Nice Vietnamese restaurant serving a variety of menu items from salads, pho, banh mi's, noodle and rice dishes! Spring rolls and egg rolls were delicious (pork and shrimp to vegetarian). Pho is delicious, great warming broth that can be customized with their homemade chili oil, sriracha or seasoning sauces. Service is good, although we came in 30 minutes before closing, so the hot tea was bitter and bad. Overall, great restaurant with delicious authentic Vietnamese food and great service and ambiance!

This was my wife and I's first time here and we WILL be coming back. The pho was so delicious! Great flavor and the veggies that come with the pho were nice and fresh! It's a cute pleasant place to enjoy something warm on a cold day! The only reason why it was four stars and not five was the lack of service. If you are someone who wants to come in order and enjoy the delicious food then have to ask for the check, this is your place. But we did have to call for the server a few times. Overall very nice experience and we will come get Pho from here again!

Sophia and I decided to stay in the Peninsula this Saturday due to weather. It has been years since we ate here so it was time to have some lunch and catch up.We were able to get a booth upon walking in. The crowd was semi-busy which is a good thing. TVs were showing NCAA tournament games and music filled the speakers. One thing we noticed is prices have gone slightly up. Inflation perhaps. Nonetheless, we were hungry and just went with the main course. I selected a large portion of Pho Tai Nam, which consists of round steak and beef brisket. This was pretty good and filled me up, which is the norm every time I order Pho dishes. And as usual, I added some chili oil for spices. Everything was pretty good and tasted well, leaving yours truly with a full stomach. The only true knock I have on the visit is lack of service. We were served with our meals fine, but after we got our bowls they didn't come back to check in on us or see if we needed any refills of water. There were two servers and they were quite busy so that may explain it. Other than the mishap, our visit was fine. We'll definitely be back for another go around. Till next time :)

The place was very nice looking and the service was quick. The thit nuong was well seasoned and was surprisingly good but the pho definitely wasn't very flavorful. The price was also pretty steep. Pho 83 is significantly cheaper than this. The pho was kinda just like water and did not have all of the meat the menu described. I would definitely recommend their grilled meats but unfortunately their pho is not worth it.

The prices here are higher than in other places but the portion sizes are also much larger. The A/C wasn't working so the air was a little humid in the restaurant.

Who would have thought you could find a pho spot in the middle of nowhere in Newport News? Lots of parking as it is in a large shopping plaza. I was surprised with the pho, the broth was rich and flavorful, 8/10. Bean sprouts, Thai basil, and lemon were fresh. I'd give the spring rolls a 6/10, it's kind of sad how small they were without much filling. You can also ask for a side of sliced onions and put sriracha and hoisin sauce over them with a squeeze of lime and eat it as a side dish with your pho. There was a lot of staff working, so was able to get seated, order, and eat quickly. Pretty large seating area, good for small groups and large groups.

Sad to say, but this place has really gone downhill in recent years. I keep going back hoping that it's just temporary but it just keeps getting worse each time. Slow service, orders coming out wrong, undercooked food (the PORK in our eggrolls was completely raw this last visit!), tables not cleaned well, etc.... Overall just not a good experience.

This is the beatPho in VA hands down! I live in northern VA and used to live here in Hampton roads , so when we visit I always come back for some great food! I live the Pho and mix it up with the spring rolls or the fried egg rolls . My husband likes the 3 meat skewers ( beef, chicken, pork) it comes with rice and a salad and is fantastic! Everything is delicious, we just have our favorites! You can't go wrong with the freshness, portions and taste! I'm a loyalCustomer even if it is only every couple of weeks!

We ordered two combination Pho and taro boba tea. Pho was ready in a flash, the broth was rich and full of flavor. Noddles and meat ratio was a bit off, we were expecting more meat since they were in smaller cuts. The vegetable toppings were fresh and good for two. The taro boba tea was delicious and very generous with boba balls. The service was OK but the place was immaculately clean. The dining area is bigger than it looks from outside. Overall, good place to get a quick Pho.

This place used to be good. Used to be authentic. Now, food tastes like crap. The employees are rude especially, the little girls that work there. The ambiance and vibe is all off. Vermicelli bowl has peanuts and the dipping sauce for springs rolls has peanuts. My order didn't have it but I paid for it. This place is a waste of someone's time and money. Check out Pho 83 if you want REAL Vietnamese food.
