Philly Steak Subs

Hubby got the original Philly cheesesteak and it was one of the best he has ever had. I don't even like Philly cheesesteak and I couldn't stop stealing bites- it's that good I got the Italian and it was disappointing It had no mayo or oil & vinegar on it. I asked for some and he gave it to me, but the sandwich did not impress. Not like the Philly - I would get a Philly for me next time

My friends and I were looking for something to eat for dinner after a 5 hour drive and we stumbled upon this place. We came at the right time since it wasn't busy and we got our food quick, about 10 minutes. Best decision ever! Their cheesesteaks were delicious & it definitely filled us up!I got the 7-inch mushroom & pepper cheesesteak w/ a large order of ranch fries. I wish they added a bit more cheese on my cheesesteak, but it had lots of meat & it was still delish. Their ranch fries were fresh, crispy, & seasoned well (they use dry ranch seasoning btw).

Thought I'd update my previous (original) review for this place - STILL A 5 STAR. Tried and true Philly Cheesesteaks. No nonsense just delicious, fresh, made-to-order down-home truly authentic cheesesteaks and all variations thwreof. Good value for what you get, subs packed with loads of meat and cheese. No skimping here. Great, friendly and prompt service from a family-run business. Restaurant itself has decent amount of seating, very clean and well maintained. Great for casual dining for large parties. We've never come here for the bar atmosphere but they do have an impressive array of tapped brews. Almost like a hidden gem - every time we've come, we've always gotten a table and there's never been a wait to order (order and pay at the counter, they'll bring your order out when it's ready). Yummy Food. The fries were great. Service was great. The best Philly Steak sub I have had, ever. The ambience was that of local sports bar.

Excellent food kinda cold but good. Got the 12 inch steak and it was good. For being from Pittsburgh and liking subs they were good highly recommend!

No matter what time of day you call to order, your food will be ready within 15 min. Food is amazing. Best out here in Corolla. Staff is great too. Absolutely go see them if you're in town!

Severely understaffed. I placed an online order and 10 minutes after it said it would be ready, it wasn't. The person at the counter said, "Yeah, we just post those times online. They don't mean anything." When I asked how long it should be, his answer was "I don't want to promise so it could be 20 or 30 minutes more or even longer." He told another customer who was complaining "Yeah, sorry, the owners just don't have enough people working here." There was a person standing behind the counter just on her phone and talking to people working. A customer asked her for something and she said "Sorry, I don't work here." So, who knows why she was standing behind the counter!I asked for a refund and his answer was "Sorry, we can't refund online orders." He then went back to the kitchen and said "Yours will be ready in 2 minutes." Food was okay, but very mediocre.

Very sad to see our favorite Philly steak place has fallen into such disrepair. It needs a good cleaning and we noticed the sanitation rating was like 86. The signs are covered with tape, the front display has some type of film on it so you cannot see the meats. It made me wonder if they used Boars Head or SteakUmms. I hope they will take a day or two to fix it up - we have always loved the sandwiches here.

I went here wanting a quick meal, but instead I was waiting 45 minutes and the people who were at the cashier were slightly rude I would not recommend.

This place hit the spot. We were hungry and did not want to wait. The food was fast and delicious. Will come back!!
