Hot wings were over fried, I think because they were cooked and re-cooked. Looks nicely fried in the pic though.
Oh so lightly fried trout, hush puppies, fried okra, mac and cheese.

Let me first start by saying our server was very polite and provided great service. This is not a reflection of her. Second, this food was horrible. 2 of us had food poisoning and it was terrible as we were eating it. I got the combo, my husband had ribs, 2 others had pork bbq sandwiches and another had a chicken salad. The chicken salad chicken was dry. The pork bbq was also dry but it's a Carolina style in case you're curious. The ribs were just god awful. Tough and chewy with terrible flavor. I also had a quarter chicken which was dry and inedible. The chopped beef tasted like a steak Um sandwich which is fine if I wanted a steak um, I did not. Sides, the only redeeming was the hushpuppies. The mac n cheese was not good. Noodles were unevenly cooked. Some were hard, some were fine and some were too done. Baked beans were not good, Cole slaw was bland. Fries were not fresh or the baked them. We lease don't waste your money here. There are much better bbq places around and they aren't as expensive to boot. If I could give zero stars I would.

I stopped by on a late Sunday afternoon, while on my way back up to DC after a trip. I wanted to get something more local, hoping that I could find some good bbq for lunch. Unfortunately, I didn't find it here. I got a large bbq minced sandwich. The size was good, but the sandwich was really salty and the bbq was also salty.. and peppery. I couldn't finish my sandwich. HOWEVER, the hush puppies were soooooo good. They're a little large - like the size and a half of a golf ball. Made fresh and served with butter, I could have eaten a dozen. The service was nice. Still sad about the bbq though

Food was not good. Definitely not worth it. I ordered pork chop sandwich mashed potatoes and butter beans. Powder potatoes the pork chop was dry. Food needed seasoning.

Very mixed feelings about this place. Prices were high, but portions were huge. Loved the pulled chicken, but the ribs disappointed. Chopped pork was good. Chopped brisket wasn't bad. Loved the Mac n cheese. Potato salad was ordinary. Service was very quick, to the point of rushing me out the door (they close at 8:00 pm on Friday). I'd definitely go back, but wouldn't go out of my way to do so.

Great hole in the wall with excellent barbecue! Enjoyed the rinse, cole slaw, beans and greens!A ridiculous amount of food, 3 of us could have shared my meal alone. Love the Elvis decor!

I was frankly insulted by our order from PG. We ordered a hamburger, which was supposed to automatically come with lettuce, tomato, mayo and pickle. What we got was a wad of meat with the consistency of a stale sponge. No condiments. No toppings. Nothing. Just a sad puck of meatloaf stuck between bland bread, wrapped in a paper towel. The chopped steak platter came with none of the promised gravy and onions, even though the sides were serviceable. Barely. The kids chicken tenders were unseasoned. The fries soggy. The saving grace was the steak sub, which by my son's account was the best steak and cheese he's ever had. The staff was nice enough. The restaurant clean. Maybe their other items are good, but the meals we got tonight singlehandedly ruined the evening. I don't think we'll be eating there again.

Food was the worst BBQ I've ever had. Minced Brisket? It smelled like it came from the garbage can. The chicken was pink. The ribs had no bone?? It wasn't st louis or loins it was some other awful pork.The only thing that had any good flavor was the beans.

The ordering online was user friendly. When I arrived at the restaurant to pick up the lady at the counter was very helpful and friendly. The food was awesome I can see why they get the good reviews.
