Awesome vegan menu with so many options. Very cool to go to such an inclusive restaurant where vegan food is so abundant. Great weekday deal on margaritas too :DMake sure to order the chunky guacamole, not the smooth, as that has sour cream. My non-vegan family members liked the chunky more than the smooth anyway.

Best breakfast burrito in VA Beach, hands down! I first tried them at the farmers market many summers ago and became addicted. Now I reco all my friends to Pelon's foe the burritos and homemade hot sauces!

This was my 1st time at the Red Mill location. Plenty of parking which is nice. Very clean inside - you can tell it's new. I was there at an odd time of day so I was the only one. I decided to sit at the bar. And I made it for HH which was great! The bartender was very friendly once we started talking. I wish I got her name. HH was 3-6 Tues-Fri. Large margarita was $8 and 3 tacos were $8. They do have a kids menu and vegan options. They do have to be all the same. I got the Famous Fish Tacos. They came out incredibly fast. They were good. The tortillas fell apart so they were a bit messy. I added hot sauce - I thought they were a bit bland. I also ordered the chips and guac for 1. I like the chips because they are thin but they do have a tendency to break but I like them thin. The guac was kind of bland. And I know this sounds stupid but the dip to chip ratio was way off!!! I either want more guacamole or less chips. There was a huge amount of chips left over which were just thrown out. The menus do not have prices on them - prices are only listed where you order on the board. I would definitely go back and recommend. I would love to go with 2 people so we could all order different tacos and try more than 1 kind. :)

This is def one of my new fave Mexican restaurants! Food is fantastic, wait time is almost non-existent or not even noticeable (as long as you have good company). The flavor of every item is in every bite!! Finally a place where I get the best bang for the buck. I ordered the surf & turf burrito, a side of an elote and of course chips and salsa, guacamole, and cheese dip. Loved everything about this place. Big enough for a party of 12+. Everything was clean from utensils, plates, tables and chairs. Staff was very welcoming. Definitely will be back.

I think I wasn't to amazed about the burrito because the meat felt like it was more ground than shredded but the burrito I ordered wasn't bad at all. California burrito with tomatoes "which was an extra $.95 " was other places it would of been free. Over all the food was good just wish that whole burrito was warm French fries in the burrito seems like it was cooked way before the burrito was made but I. Would like to try there fish tacos next time I do come by again

It took me a minute to catch the vibe. A bar, sit down seating, but you stand in a line like a fast food restaurant and order your food. It was like Moe's Southwest Grill had a baby with Red Lobster's ambiance. It felt weird. The prices was definitely a sit down, with a waiter, kind of prices, and that stand in line and order like Wendy's just didn't match it.But get past that strange set up, and let the food speak do the talking. And honey, I'm here to tell you, they UNDERSTOOD THE ASSIGNMENT for us vegans! Their menu options for vegans was impressive! I ordered Gardein chicken nachos with vegan cheese and vegan sour cream...and simply put, it was legendary! My four star review is only because the cashier told me if I wanted a true vegan meal, then to avoid the refried beans (they are not vegan). I ordered "chik'n" instead of beans and still got the beans and "chik'n". I didn't really mind because I ordered the guacamole as an appetizer--and it was heavenly. I ate so much guac and chips, I really was full by the time my entree arrived. When I go back (and I plan on returning regularly now), I will order just the guacamole and chips as my meal. I almost forgot--the Elote!! Wow! Let me say it again for those in the back of the room...WOW! It was corn on the cob perfection! I regret only ordering one serving. I won't make that mistake again. Yes. It really is THAT good!

We ordered dinner online, which we've done numerous times. As usual, the food wasn't ready for another 10 minutes past the time given on the Toast app...very irritating! I ordered the California Burrito, which I've had before and usually love. It was NOT fresh. The carne asada was cold, cheese wasn't melted inside, and about 1/2 a teaspoon each of sour cream and salsa right in the middle. I found this out after carefully opening the flaky tortilla that resembled dried paper mache.The other items we ordered were edible, but so simple it wood be impossible to mess up- cheese quesadillas, chips and dip trio, and a taco salad (which contained cold carne asada as well).Very disappointing experience, because we used to love Pelon's, and I also love the vibe of their restaurant if you eat there.

What's not to love about Pelons. Pelons is fresh food served fast. I was a little confused on the concept at first because you ordered at the Register like fast food but can seat yourself like a dine in restaurant. I ordered fish tacos and a side of Elote. It took well over 25 minutes to receive my order. Not sure if they had to catch the fish first but it took awhile. The fish tacos were good and cooked well but the shinning star of this meal was the Elote. The corn was seasoned well, buttered and covered with Mexican cheese! *Insert chef's kiss here!*

Everything was delish. Reminded us of back home in Cali! Fish tacos were so good so fresh! Very nice of the owner Senor Pelon came out to meet us. Clean, friendly, delish. Highly recommend to get a taste of Baja Cali!
