Everything looked clean and the staff were friendly. Take out seemed to be more popular than dining in. Wait time for my food was minimal!

Wife and I eat here every other Saturday for lunch. You can't beat the price for such generous portions of food & amazing service. Wife is particularly fond of their beef lomein where i choose their General Chicken. Along with your main entree comes choice of soup & rice & egg roll.

Peking City is a higher quality Chinese restaurant than many others. The walnut shrimp is absolutely delicious-jumbo deep fried shrimp in a delicious sauce. I crave this dish and would come just for it! The sesame chicken is high quality. Crab Rangoon is one of my favorite dishes in general, but I would love to see Peking City redesign them to have more filling and less fried outside. The portions here are great and they're open until 10pm! Highly recommend for Chinese takeout.

I pulled in this evening on a whim because our usual "go -to," take-out place one strip-lot over was closed on Mondays. I had completely spaced on that fact, and after searching for 4th grade art project supplies?! I was DONE, SON! So- HRH#2(little son) of course could not have new Lo Mein cross his lips or dare to try anything, ... so I stuck with my guns and got that for Daddy and myself- we can eat cardboard, that's how we fell in love. I got little one McDonald's while I waited for carry out. OhMYGAWD!! This food was beyond delicious. The meat on the "beef on a stick was sooooo tender, and the Lo Mein was, I kid you not, SUPERB!" It was so nice to go home, ex-freaking-xhausted and just slide that msgdeliciousness urrrly goodness right into mah BELLY! Sorry, I mean, it was so nice to honestly serve a meal that felt like you were eating in a Washington DC Linen Napkin, refill your water every 2 minutes restaurant. Superb. Sorry Previous guys, I don't know if it's Virginia but.. call me Mrs. Jefferson.... We're movin on UP! You all won't regret it! And it's less expensive!

I highly recommend this small family owned Chinese Restaurant. I have only ordered takeout.They offer reasonable prices,they always get my order correctly and it arrives on time as promised warm and ready to eat.I have receive chopsticks, napkins and different mustard's etc. in my order even when I forgot to ask.I appreciate the the care they put into all of our deliveries.

I have been to many Chinese Restaurants around Virginia Beach and Norfolk and I can say this is one of the best if not the best. Ever since I have been a little boy I have been coming to Peking City for Chinese food and have been satisfied with my meals every time. My favorite dishes I have had over the years are the Crispy Prawns with orange peal, General Tso's chicken, Honey Chicken, Happy family, Sweet and Sour Chicken and chicken Lo mein. I have had a lot of the items on their menu and can say all of it is very good.
