Gyro was good, lamb was tender. Seasoned fries were very salty. New York sub was light on meat and heavy on mayonnaise, not a combo that I would expect.Ambiance is more of a bar than a deli, with a bar featuring a wide range of brews. Black painted concrete floors and aged wood add to that feeling.Okay, but not the best.

The wife and I had their loaded fries. The fries were unlike any that I have ever had. They were like chewing on cardboard and they lacked any filling.The wife said that she has had them there before and they were good, so I guess it's a roll of the dice. I for one will not be "rolling the dice" there again.On an up note service was good.

The good is that hubby got the lamb gyro and said it was as good as our local gyro place, but since it was Monday our local place was closed. I got the New York sub which was such a disappointment because it lacked any meat and had so much mayo. So then I took the other half's meat to attempt to make it better, but there was so much mayonnaise that it started to fall apart. The meat lacked any seasoning anyway. One slice of corned beef and one slice of salami along with a tasteless slice of cheese is not a New York sub, but the good news is that the sweet server checked on us and was so concerned about how upset I was. Juliana then talked with the manager and had the cost removed as I had not eaten hardly any of it. She kept apologizing but it wasn't her fault. The place definitely could use some cleaning as the indoor window we sat next to was filthy and the floors were black so the vibes were definitely of a bar rather than a delicatessen.

Good ... but not as good as I rememberFries were great. Chicken tenders great. One daughter got the chilli .. ate it all. Sandwiches got soggy fast (don't remember that from previous years) still good. Would still come back. Lots of local brews on tap. Friendly staff.

DELICIOUS Sub and really good bacon cheese fries as well. My family gets food from here and has a picnic in the sunken gardens every time we come back for the William and Mary Homecoming.

Went to lunch with my parents the other day...asked if we could have a low top with chairs and they kindly sat us where we needed (my dad has bad knees, so he needs to get up and down easily).The young man who took care of us was attentive, friendly, and was very accommodating...he got us everything we needed to enjoy our meal and checked on us every time he walked past.The food was good; exactly what we expected...everything tasted good, was well executed, and the portions were great!Dad got the godfather Philly, and my mom and I shared the fish and chips special and the prime rib sandwich special.As for the ambience; felt a little dark, outdated, strangely mismatched chairs, and dingy bathrooms (makes it feel a little dirty IMO)...sooooo much seating, so they can do a ton of business...We would eat here again for a quick bite.

To start off , my gf just recently started working near by and really wanted to check this place out . We met up for lunch Her and I and 2 of our kids 9 and 17 . When we sat , we had to request a kids menu , then we had to request crayons , the waiter gave my daughter one of his pens , not his fault crayons aren't available. My son and ordered a Stromboli which cost around 22 bucks ,when it came out it was small considering the price , Pizza Sam in Newport will make one double the size for 5 bucks less . The real problem occurred when my gf ordered the simple burger . The burger came out made wrong and I mean like different from how the description states, plus for the lettuce they used the hard center part of the lettuce . We let the waiter know . He was was super understanding and said he would talk to his manager Jessica about taking it off . He returns to the Table to inform us she said no . I was like wow , I guess making a burger different from it's description and using the lettuce knot and the customer not eating it doesn't qualify for anything.....not even a visit to the Table lol . Too many options in the greater Williamsburg area to waste your money at this place .

We came for the Brunch - NOT!Don't claim you serve brunch if you don't even have tea or a cup of hot water. They only have luke warm caffeinated coffee. This is a drunk's sports bar that serves (choke)food. Hence, the reason for caffeinated-only coffee.The micro brunch menu doesn't even appear on their website - (now I know why) Since the Brunch offering was so horrific we decided to drop back ten yards & puntHow can you go wrong with Burgers, they were terrible!We were offered pink and they were more crucified than a McDonalds single. Grease was the burger's only flavor. The French fries were shoveled out anemic, limp & cold. The waitress was friendly & commiserative when she heard our meal displeasure. Even if she told management our dismay - not a Nickle was removed from the bill. Yah know in a town full of restaurants starving for good help this young woman should change jobs.

Disappointing lunch experience. Our server did not notice us and we waited about 15 minutes for service to start. He was woefully unable to answer questions about the menu and gave incorrect information. My husband asked what fish was in the fish and chips special and was told cod. In fact, it was skin on catfish (which was not good). This "special" was $20. My Godfather Philly was completely underwhelming. It lacked any seasoning and came with a bland au jus dip. Even the fountain drink tasted off. Cannot recommend on any level.

You will not find a more inconsistent restaurant in Williamsburg. Food can be great or the worst. Sometimes fries come with a sub. Sometimes a soda is free with a kids meal. Sometimes they grill the bread for the gf sub. 7 onion rings for $5.00
