Papo’s Colombian Restaurant

This food was simply delicious. I moved to Suffolk from Tampa a little over a year ago and have been seeking out the best food for what I've been used to for the last 25 years (Columbian, Cuban, Greek, Peruvian....)I got a beef empanada to start. The amazing server brought me three sauces to try.... one garlic, one 'special sauce' (mayo/ketchup), and one spicy green sauce. I asked if there was anything spicier than the green sauce. She brought me a tiny cup of their red sauce because she said it was super spicy. She was right. I stuck with the green sauce!I ordered the lomo de cerdo plancha. It was served with rice and coleslaw. I opted for the green plantain. Just.....absolutely..... delicious. Outstanding!Fair prices, the restaurant is clean. I happened to use the restroom as I had stopped in my way to Busch Gardens. Completely clean. My only complaint is that they need to open a place in Suffolk so I don't have to drive an hour for delicious Columbian food!

Great authentic Colombian food ... a little on the pricey side. Service was fast.When they music it's a little too loud ... need to lower it a little bit.

Let me start by saying hospitality was top tier! From the moment my partner and I stepped in to the moment we left they were attentive and met our needs. The food was delicious we will definitely be back to try more items off their menu. The restaurant was clean and definitely screamed Colombian, loved the vibes. I'm kinda upset that they are an hour from where I live but as I said before I'll definitely be making a trip here again.

I never had Colombian food before, so I thought I'd try Papo's. I was very surprised at how good it was. The staff are friendly, and attentive. The only negative would be figuring out how to get in the place. The windows and doors are decorated, so I had to figure out the way in.

Excellent. By chance we were driving by and we saw this place, and decided go try.Very unique, but the good was really good.We had beef empanadas, arepa, and a bowl of beans/pork belly/sausage/plantains.We were served byYe-Jo.... Very professional snd customer service.Very clean, looks like it just opened. Overall a great experience.... Will be back for sure

My husband and I have eating here twice this year but don't get to go as often as we would love to since we don't live close by but have gone out of our way to eat here! The food is amazing and the service is great! The music and atmosphere is welcoming and nice. But the food....is perfection with seasoning and taste! I got take out today and it was so good!! The people working here are so nice it really is worth it!

We used to love this place. Not sure what happened. Food quality has gone down and pricing has gone waaaaay up. Ordered a few empanadas and one order of chicharrones and the total was about $50. Between 2 chicken empanadas, I pulled out 3 bones (one pretty big piece) and 2 pieces of cartilage...

I landed here looking for a different place. But they had a smoker out and I figured I would give it a try. The service was great and the wait was not bad at all. I believe they are on the pricey side on some items. I had some combo of a chicken quarter - smoked but had a light smoke flavor. Not bad. A pork rib similar to the cut of meat when you get Bulgogi. It was thicker though. The flavor was good but very light. Came with beans and rice -I wanted double rice no beans. The rice was right about undercooked but not. It lacked flavor. I also tried a chicken empanada. That was good but I would have labeled it a potato chicken empanada. There was more potato filling than chicken but the flavor was good. Not sure if I would go again mainly due to the price compared to the flavor of what I had.

Food was great. Service was quick and spot on with what ever we needed. They have live music on certain night which is great.

The ambiance is so beautiful it's instagram worthy. The service was great with recommendations and accommodations. The food was so good and the portions were so big even my husband got to take some of his home.Would recommend.
