Panda Garden

Used to be great. Would frequent the place before and after the fire. Quality has dropped off dramatically and prices are ridiculous.

Panda garden is good for takeout. Great flavor and fresh food. Recommend hunan shrimp, sweet and sour chicken, moo goo gai pan, steak on a stick, fried rice, and egg rolls. Orange chicken is strong on the orange.

Darn - was very hopeful New Kent would have decent Chinese - not the case. Below the quality of the Chinese fast casual chains. Very evident the quality of ingredients was poor. Service was friendly and quick and the front of the house was very clean.

We ordered food here it was absolutely the worst Chinese food i've ever eaten. It was tough and dry, i ordered the sweet & sour chicken. Hubby ate 2 bites of his chicken fried rice and threw it out. He said the rice tasted like it had been sitting in a pot for a month hard as a rock! Never going back! Why can't this area get decent restaurants?! Sad.

I've been here twice. The first time was pretty good. Nice Chinese takeout. Was happy to find a Chinese place in the vast expanse that is Quinton, VA.Second time... my pork fried rice had little plastic bits in it... i really looked closely and it appears to be the corner of soy sauce packets... about 8 of them. Hopefully they didn't bite them off and hopefully they usually throw them away vice into the rice!!

Great food, good price, fast service & hands down the best Asian food in new Kent county

Wonderful family owned and operated. They are super nice and friendly. The food is always good and plentiful. They have been apart of the area for a long time it's not a huge dining room but it is bright and clean.

Great food, nice size portions and fairly cheap! My teenage boys loved it! Would recommend to others!

I've ordered takeout from Panda Garden a few times in the past 2 years. The food had been okay, nothing to rave about (for evenings you don't want to cook and may want Chinese food). But what really upset me and made me change my mind about ordering from this restaurant again is the dishonesty factor related to my last takeout phone order. The woman who is at the front counter the past few times that I've gone to pick up my food (and who I assume is the owner) rounded up on the charge for my order. Rather than charging me the exact price as printed on their menu and adding sales/meals tax, she rounded up. The price difference between what it should have cost and what she rounded up to was more than a dollar. But it wasn't so much about the money I was upset about, as it was more because of her dishonesty.

Used to come to panda garden before they burned down and it was pretty decent but now in 2023 they have lost they're quality of food, chicken tastes like its been microwaved, the white rice tastes very old, food took about 25 mins, sadly wont be coming back to waste my money.
