Painting with a Twist

Fantastic people! Our instructor was great and a joy to get to know. The management helped us plan and prep a private party with total grace and true customer service. That was BRILLIANT!

I had a great time at Painting with a twist. Mer was our teacher and she was really helpful and nice. She helped me and my friends a lot when we got stuck on how to do something or if we fell behind from chit-chatting too much. I'm really happy how my snowman came out. I would definitely recommend to others.

I had such a good time visiting this establishment.It is a great place to come for a date night or with friends.The instructor was very nice and she made sure to walk around a lot and help you if you are behind.They served wine and you got to pick whatever flavors you wanted and it was very sweet and yummy.I would come here again.

Very accommodating! We were able to walk in lastMinute and join a class. The staff are very encouraging! Even as a beginner you can't help but to feel good about what you are doing! They also have a variety of wines to choose from! Oh and the playlist during our time was the best! Most of the class was singing along at times!

First time here tonight and it was so much fun. Hannah the 3rd was our instructor and she was truly awesome. Paint with a twist, and a flick of the wrist and sips of wine Yummy. Stations weren't overcrowded. The instructor was easy to talk too, answered questions and even offered assistance to those who weren't confident on certain things. Not sure why it took me this long to try this place out but I will be back. Tonight's event was 18+ but they do haven't events for children as well. This made for an awesome girls night amongst my friends. So happy to have this establishment so close to home in Chesapeake as well. The atmosphere was just chill, great hits from the 90s played in the background and we painted and sang to our hearts content tonight. Thank you and I'll be back again soon!! The price was affordable as well with 3 options based on size of canvas and accessories requested. Highly recommend stopping in or scheduling a session you won't be disappointed.

I absolutely love painting at this location. I've been here twice and previously had never had a paint night experience. I've experienced two different instructors and both were so pleasant and helpful. The most experience was a paint and mimosa event on a Sunday and it was the perfect couple of hours away that I needed. You get two mimosas during the event, which is plenty cause you're working hard! I also picked up a pice of holiday artwork that they had for sale for $10! It was perfect to add to my Christmas decor and it supports their business. I highly recommend this place for a girls night/day out or even for a solo experience. It's a wonderful idea for stress relief and just releasing all of the creativity you have.

This was my second time here & I loved it! The first time was Valentine's couples painting and this one was for teachers. I love the themes that they offer and the endless possibilities. The employees are always nice and helpful when it comes to perfecting your painting, it is a very relaxed environment on top of wine being available! They also have raffle off paintings/prizes during the session.

Just hosted my daughter's birthday with some of her classmates. WHAT AN AMAZING DAY! We were booked for a private room. The art instructor was amazing with the kids. She played a couple games and the winner got to choose a painting from a selected area. The kids painted for an hour and half. Once they had the backdrop of their canvas painted they had about 15 min to have some food and go back to painting. They were able to eat the whole time while they painted if they wanted to. We were able to bring in our own food and drinks. I highly recommend this place for both boys and girls.

This location is incredibly poorly managed. After being told that we would forfeit or booking fee if even a minute late, the artist failed to show up to the scheduled class. When a manager finally arrived 30 min after the scheduled start time to "let us in" because there still was no artist on site to lead the class. When we requested a refund, the manager became incredibly defensive and refused to take accountability for the actions of the artists who failed to show. We were first told no refund could be granted and then we were told it would be issued with a 10% fee for servicing, despite the error being on the part of the studio. The manager on site and someone I assume was her partner handled the situation incredibly unprofessionally and were speaking heatedly to a group full of frustrated people and tried to keep shifting blame back to the artist. Very poor experience overall

I went last night my sister who was here on business. She comes about every 3 months. We laughed so much. The others were laughing as well. The instruction was clear and Teresa went round giving suggestions and help to those (meaning me) who needed help. Would definitely recommend! Would make an excellent team building exercise during the week! I used to go alone every time and always left in smiles. Go have fun!Kelly
