Outland Seafood

Great variety and very reasonably priced. Stopped in a few times and they had exactly what we needed. This is our go to place for seafood that we cannot harvest ourselves and the service is always outstanding. Not directly on the beach but worth the short drive for sure.

Plenty of fresh local choices of fish, shellfish, crabs and spices. A variety of frozen Crab legs are also for sale. We found the service excellent. I brought my cooler in and my purchase of local shrimp, grouper and scallops were double-bagged and put on plenty of ice to get us home--4 hours away. Before you get too far from the island stop and load up. Fresh healthy seafood is the best souvenir you can bring home for yourself or others.

Fresh local seafood. Oysters are awesome. Good variety of fish, shrimp, and scallops. They also will steam your shrimp.

So glad that we found this place! We stopped by at least once a week while in the area. Seafood is fresh, prices are great and is really friendly! We are bringing a bunch of fresh seafood home and will definitely be back whenever we are in the area.

Raw, uncooked. It's a seafood market. The gas station next door buys from them and food is very good.

Be cautious! They sell dead crab to customers. I heard this store from my friends and thought they had good reputation. When I visit OBX for a trip, I marked their store as a must go place. I was extremely disappointed. I bought 6 crabs, I believed in them and didn't check the crabs. There are three issues: 1. Three crabs have only one claw. This is fine. 2. Not all the crabs are the size they showed to me. Two of them are very small even smaller than legal size for NC salt water recreational limit. 3. Two of the crabs are dead and one of them stinks. It means the two crabs are dead and at least one is dead for a long time. I put them in a cooler with ice and the ice was still there when I arrived home. So the crabs must be already dead when they sold to me. This point is absolute unacceptable. $18 is not much to me but this should not be the way you treat your customers especially for someone who trust you.

We stopped at Outland seafood on our way inland from Nags Head. We wanted to get some fresh shrimp to take home for ourselves and friends - luckily Outland showed up on Yelp! The place was very clean, prices were good and the variety was great. We got Mahi steaks and medium shrimp. Cooking the tonight we found it all to be fresh and good quality. Outland just became our stop on the way to the beach and our stop for take-homes when headed west!
