Outer Banks Dare Challenge

Personally i didn't find anything i was interested in but it's still a nice shop to look in. there is an area with mainly furniture but next door they have an area for trinkets and all sorts of things. definitely worth a look

Old school Christian nonprofit consignment shop. Lots of second hand household goods, most priced between $1-$5. A few pieces of furniture, no clothing.At first glance the store looked sparsely stocked and I didnt think I'd find anything interesting... but on a deeper dig my mother in law pulled out an old art deco inspired desk lamp. At $2, it was impossible to resist. We almost also walked out with a $2 retro floor lamp...

Great place if you're looking for furniture. The staff were so talkative and very nice. They made it a pleasant experience shopping. Some items are priced a little high and others are reasonable. But overall I would definitely return.

I love this thrift store. It is THE place to go for thrift store furniture. I have gotten two very nice sofas for less than $30. They have delivered them for an extra fee, which was definitely a plus because one was a very heavy sleeper sofa delivered up a stairwell. My husband bought 10 restaurant-type chairs there for $5 each, that just needed to have a coat of paint on them to be very nice. A great place to go to get furniture that can be painted and repurposed.The people are nice and helpful. They DO have clothing, also, in a separate building.

I contacted the store to arrange to donate some furniture, a small computer desk and a new crafting table. After being told it would be a week before they could pick it up I made the arrangements.They showed up today to say they don't take the items I had. I explained I had told the store exactly what I had but they just turned around a left! I will never donate to their shop again.

This is the best thrift store around. It is definitely a treasure hunt, but if you keep looking you will find your treasure! My best buy here was an Ethan Allen sofa with upgraded filling and washable cushion covers and pillow covers. The staff here is incredible. They WANT to help and to give you a good deal. Purchases are tax free (probably because everything is donated), and the money goes to a great cause. Check it out and keep coming back to search for your treasure 'cause their merchandise changes every day!
