Outer Banks Arboretum & Teaching Garden

Beautiful place for a walk in Kill Devil Hills, NC. We parked in the lot at the entrance to the arboretum. My dogs and I enjoyed walking through the arboretum before watching the turtles in the pond. The arboretum is free and open each day from sunrise to sunset. They offer sensory gardens, handicap accessible trails, outdoor programming, butterfly highway,and more! It offers a lovely area to connect with nature and learn about our ecosystem. Overall we had a good experience and recommend it to others!
