(Updated rating)Found this spot from a comment section on tik tok and after trying it I can definitely say they overrated the place. I ordered takeout in the restaurant and got a chicken sandwich (9$) with fries (2$), broccoli Alfredo pasta (18$), and Mac n cheese (4$) for a total of around 38$.The chicken sandwich was decent but the chicken patty reminded me of a Wendy's one which are usually flat and thin. The sauce on the sandwich was pretty good tho. The fries were okay with great texture but not as much seasoning as I would've liked.The broccoli Alfredo pasta was pretty good coming with broccoli, jerk shrimp and chicken.The mac n cheese wasn't anything special, it was just okay.All in all, this place is solid. The pasta was my favorite item of the four but I can't really see myself returning.

The food was seasoned well; a touch too salty. Ordered 2 platters, and there was a decent amount of food. There were crab balls, not crab cakes, but they were tasty. The coleslaw tasted like it came from the grocery store. The service was decent and kind. The seating was a bit confusing; too much room for what should probably be a takeout only place. I did enjoy hearing the NPR tiny desk music YouTube series playing on the TV.

I very much enjoyed our people's! It was a snowy day that I was unprepared for so I noticed they were open and I ordered. I called to place a pick up order, the lady was very pleasant who took my order however I gave them my card over the phone and when I went in, they wanted to see the physical card as well as my ID, which I thought was a little strange. I ordered the crab balls and salmon strips as well as the fish and shrimp meal. The crab balls were tasty, but the salmon strips and the shrimp with my meal were very overcooked. I didn't even finish the salmon strips because they were cooked so hard and pretty tough and chewy to eat (also you only get four shrimp). The fish that came with my meal was whiting and it was cooked perfect so delicious. They have this special sauce that they offer which was very delicious. I ended up getting extra which was 50 Cent per ramekin. I definitely expected more for the price I paid which was around $40-$50. I will be trying once more because maybe because it was a snowy day. It wasn't their best next time I will eat in because the inside was pretty nice and they had Martin playing which is one of my favorite shows.

I have been dreaming about pasta from Our People's so today I had to make that dream come true and they did not disappoint!!! This is one of the only places that I will get pasta every time I come. Food is made fresh so please be patient. My wait time was less than 20 minutes and that was good! Honestly it's the type of meal that I want to sit in the car to eat so I won't have to share!!!!

Food was smackin I want to go back for their pasta menu which is separate and starts everyday @ 1330. Well worth the drive

The customer service was excellent and on point. My food was very good and full of flavor. Our waitress and hostess were very accommodating. The atmosphere was really great with the music as well.

They need a bigger place and parking lot!!! This was hands down the closest flavor to being in South Louisiana, without being in South Louisiana! I had the crawfish pasta and had to hold my self back from licking the plate clean! If you ain't been here you need to stop by A.S.A.P. *and apparently they got Adult beverages coming soon!*10 out of 10 Can't wait to come again!

Oh my gosh! This place is amazing on so many levels. The woman at the counter was so patient and friendly. All the tables were clean but they still wiped it down fresh for me. The server who brought the food was lovely as well. As soon as she dropped the food at my table, she said she would be back in 3 minutes to ask about my satisfaction for the chef. They are playing NPR Tiny Desk with Alicia Keys. Atmosphere is amazing. Now the food- wow. So delicious and fresh. The sauce on it is soooo good. I got extra :) Fries are perfect- crispy and seasoned. I will be coming here every day while on vacation. Such a hidden gem! Make time to stop here. You will be so happy.

Absolutely love Our Peoples! The food is a hit every single time. The Chefs hands are BLESSED! The ladies who work here are so sweet and always have the best customer service and recommendations. Also try out the bar! I had their special drink of the week, Strawberry Crème Dream, in the theme of Valentine's Day of course. I'm a pasta girl so the Brocolli Pasta is my go to! But you won't be disappointed by anything you try.
