Tried for the first time tonight. Kani salad isn't a true kani salad. It it literally fake crab with lettuce and a ginger dressing. The teriyaki plate with fried rice and veggies had white rice with a very bad teriyaki sauce and the veggies were raw, not steamed..... I would NOT come again.

I am not sure why there are low reviews! I love this place! Huge portions and fresh food. My bf and I come here often especially when we need something affordable and filling

The chicken hibachi was really good. The yum yum wasn't my favorite (personal taste) but the rice also didn't need it unlike a lot of other places. The zucchini was definitely my favorite vegetable in the meal. And they gave plenty of food so it was a good value. They were super fast after I ordered, but I asked for only some of the veggies and there were a few stray mushrooms (not a huge deal).

You get a good deal for what you pay, I ended up eating this for lunch and the leftovers for dinner. This place is also convenient for those who work on Naval Station Norfolk- especially the air side of the base. I give this four stars because the chicken has some pretty substantial char pieces that took away from the taste of everything else. Will eat here again- our office likes to do group orders here.

Yes, the lady at the front is rude, curt and not happy. I chalk it up to 'lost in translation'. No, I would never order sushi from here. (C'mon people, have some sense ‍) But I do come here for the hibachi and it's quite good! Looking for inexpensive hibachi? This is for you.

This is probably the worst sushi I have ever had and I ordered simple ones just to be safe. I ordered the spicy tuna and the shrimp tempura ...doesn't even taste like it should and texture is all wrong. Please save yourself the money.

Very disgusting vegetable fried rice. it looked and tasted like 4 day old rice kept in the rice cooker with 3 year old soy sauce dumped on top of it. It was nothing like any fried rice you've ever tasted. That's not a good thing.

Nasty ! Ordered vegetable fried rice and it wasn't "fried" but rather drenched in soy sauce. The Japanese would never have food served this awful.

The food was amazing! I ordered on DoorDash and it came fast and hot! I ordered the chicken and shrimp Terryaki & I didn't even have to ask them for extra sauce! They gave me extra scoops!!! Thats taking initative also the price is right, this is my spot.

The food was good but the customer service, on the other hand, was another story. On my last visit, I asked for spicy mayo and it seemed to be a bit of a tuff request for some reason. Being a sushi restaurant, you would expect it to be offered with all sushi dishes. I return home and my fiancée tells me that it was actually some type of buffalo sauce, not spicy mayo. Upon my latest visit "today", I asked again for spicy mayo. This time I got an eye roll and a loud huff. I responded by asking if my request was a hassle or problem and got a reply from Oh my God. At this point, I'm in total confusion as to why this is such a big deal. She then aggressively pulls out a sauce container and slams it on the counter, then yells 25 sent 25 sent lol had to throw that in there. As she started to pour the sauce, I saw that it was the same sauce that I received on my last visit and asked if it was spicy mayo. She then screams that it's some special "homemade spicy mayo". I got home and, once again, it wasn't spicy mayo. My fiancée never had a problem when she personally goes in to pick up the order, but for some reason, she gives me the most difficult time. Before I walked out, I blessed her with a few blissful words, making sure I made her feel as belittled and idiotic as I could. For reference, it's the older lady. I believe she's the owner. She's always there lol.
