On The Spot Creamery

I see On The Spot Creamery (OTSC) food trailer parked at the 3W Farmers Market parking lot often, so when we saw it parked there yesterday, on our way back from a birthday party, I did a sharp turn in!According to the man in the trailer, they make all their ice creams in the food trailer. At the time of our visit, they had five flavors of ice cream available, but only in cups. He said that they had had a busy day and ran out of cones. He had also shut down the milkshake machine. In terms of savory items, they had lobster rolls (not sure if this is a regular item), but they also had a few varieties of hot dogs. My kids had asked for a sample of the watermelon sorbet. I thought it had more of a citrus hint to it, rather than the pure flavor of watermelon itself, so we opted for the vanilla and chocolate flavors. Both sorbet and ice creams had a great, creamy texture though! For a kids cup, it'll run you about $4 which I think is about average for an ice cream spot/food truck prices. It was a nice cold treat on these awful humid days! Eat it quick! The man said that he will be there next weekend, which I am assuming with the frequency that I've seen him there, is that he may be there every weekend on the regular.Enjoy, Friends!

Great little place to stop by in Chesapeake! Right out in front of the 3 W's Farmers Market off Centerville and Etheridge Manor. I always love a good farmers market but i also love a good food truck (especially with homemade ice cream)! The hot dogs and strawberry milkshake were amazing!!
