On Ice

Norfolk people, don't sleep on On Ice! They're so kind and their pagash (and pierogies) are delicious. When I messaged them this morning, I didn't realize that they closed at two on weekdays, so I asked about picking up pagash around 4:15 after work, and the wonderful person I messaged said no worries, that he'd coordinate with the manager of the Little Caesar's beside them and I could pick it up from them instead. Both places went above and beyond with their customer service! Def check them out if you haven't yet! (Pagash is bread, potato, and cheese, so you literally can't go wrong! It was a huge hit at DND tonight.)

A unique take on liquid nitrogen ice cream. Some places use cream and pour it on a nitrogen cooled surface. Here they put liquid nitrogen in a sink and put scoops of cream into it. Pretty cool. Ending texture is kinda crunchy ice cream, almost like dip and dots. Portion size was very good and would come back to try it again.

My family is Polish, and we've had pierogies for Christmas every year since I was born. We usually make them ourselves, but for the past two years, we've gotten them from On Ice - and they are absolutely FANTASTIC! They taste just like my grandparents' (and their parents' and grandparents', etc.). Thank you so much for making such delicious pierogies and for helping to make our holidays so special!

Ice cream looked pretty but tasted pretty gross. Brownie was stale, and the chocolate chips tasted pretty rancid. Inside the store was kind of gross as well. Only one guy was working behind the counter and he didn't even speak to us. Just took our order than held his hand out for my husbands card. Definitely won't be going back

Be careful or you'll miss it! This place is attached to a Little Cesar's and easy to bypass. The server was nice. The inside seems like they are going for a 1950's feel, but they aren't quite there yet. I enjoyed my ice cream, and my partner did as well. However, the base ice cream was a bit heavy for my taste.

Came here based on the great reviews, but left with a disappointment. 1. Hard to find. The location is absolutely DOMINATED by a giant Little Caesar's pizza sign. The only indication there is another business is a small chalkboard as you walk up to the business. 2. The staff was rude. The woman working behind the counter literally made visible and outward sad faces of disappointment every time a customer came in - including us. I am glad my child didn't pick up on it, but I noticed and felt extremely unwelcome and burdensome. She mentioned her hands were cold, and I sympathized with her, but don't be mad every time a customer comes in.

Me and the wife were in the mood for something sweet and cold since the weather was warm. We just finished dinner so decided to grab somewhere for dessert and found this little place near by. Once we arrived we were a little confused where the business was since it shared a building with Little Caesar's and their sign over shadowed their business. Non the less the parking was good and we found it around the corner.Once we entered we were greeted and were helped with the menu and showed their variety of desserts to choose from. Me and my wife decided to get the N2 I.C.ED size with nitrogen spheres and up to three flavors and the Glo-Cone which is bigger with 4 flavors. They were both amazing and watching them make the nitrogen spheres were exciting to watch. Think of the treat as a plastic upside down sombrero and they fill the middle with flavored nitrogen spheres, then put a bunch of shaved ice on top and then add all the flavors you love. It's fun and delicious!The price was reasonable, for both it was around $10 and the cleanliness of the business was great! So if you're ever in the area and want to try something new and different for dessert, than this is the place for you! We will definitely be trying this place again! Thank you On Ice!

too bad i don't live closer. It's GOOD. I was expecting a dippin dots kinda thing, but it's WAY better. kinda reminded me of astronaut ice cream but better because of the toppings. I LOVED it. I liked how it had a soft crunch. My kid got a scoop of ice cream. and they do offer food. But I did see a deal of ice cream and pizza so you can do that too. Eat inside or outside. Up to you! Please go here and keep this place in business. Price is reasonable and really good.

We came here on a craving and a whim! I was definitely coming for the shaved ice. Upon entering we were nicely greeted by a gentleman, I'm thinking he may have been an owner or the manager because he was very informative about his products and he was very customer friendly.I decided to get the sphere ice cream, because personally I was here with my young son and I thought the experience of watching them make it with a liquid nitrogen would have been cool and THAT it was. I ordered the brownie sundae made with the liquid nitrogen Sphere ice cream balls. Now please keep in mind there are different ways to get your ice cream you can have it traditional, sphered which gives it more of a crunchy texture Or you can opt for a shaved ice. There is a nice little patio outside in the front that you can enjoy, dogs are allowed outside. The inside is extremely clean and very impressive if I do say so myself.

Friendly atmosphere, great service and the food is amazing !!! I had the sloppy joe and my daughter had had the cookies and cream ice cream
