Ok size of each order is worth it. This place is good for what it is. Lots of food and good in flavor. Not amazing but better than ljs on the west coast. We both ordered the flounder and shrimp with fries and coke slaw. Nothing was crazy jump off the plate amazing but again it is fast foodish. There were three pieces of fish and five fried shrimp. It's good not great but good is fine for fast food.

Was in town from Jersey to visit some family and decided to try this place out. I had the crab cake sandwich (with house-made coleslaw), hush puppies and scallops which were all delicious! I meant to save some for later, but I ate everything on my drive back. All of my food was cooked and FLAVORED to perfection and the staff are very friendly.I do wish there was dine-in but highly recommended if you ever get the chance. Additional pros--Apple pay! Fresh fish!

This place has been in existence for years! ! And they are still standing for one reason or another. But whatever reason it is, it must be all good!!I haven't been here in forever, but pass by here at least once a week. However, last Saturday night, I thought hmmmm, my mom wanted seafood and this place came to mind first. I tell you my main reason for choosing here is again...convenience!! It's about 5 mins from the house and anywhere else was 10 mins plus. It was about 730pm and most seafood takeout eateries are either closed, closing soon or just too far. But I tell you I'm oh so glad I came here.My visit was to purchase food for my lovely mother. She wanted seafood and I had to make it happen! Again it's about 730 and the place closes at 830 (I saw the hours on the window). I walked in and there were nooooo customers. Now usually this is a red flag as if this place is nasty. I thought to myself, they don't even have one customer. But I'm here anyway so oh well. Seemingly, after I uttered those words another couple walked in...hallelujah! ! Time to order...Meal C 6 I believe... 2 crab cakes, shrimp and fries for a little over $11.00 The food was fried and fresh *made to orderNow you know I had to take a bite of everything to write an accurate review on everything! ! The food was gooood!! I thought to myself, I now have a reliable seafood restaurant nearby that I don't have to wonder about anymore. Oh yeah! !!The staff consisted of what I believe a husband and wife team, cute. They didn't talk much but she was helpful in answering all my questions. She saw me taking my precious time and I was... I confirmed the closing time but she said we close at 8. Oops...but the sign reads...ok nevermind. I'll definitely be back. I'm anxiously awaiting to try something new now. But only on cheat day :)I recommend this place 100% Limited parking and non existing lighting at nightfall. Under new management and the food is amazing. You must try the crab cakes, they're exquisite. This is my new favorite seafood spot in Portsmouth. Keep up the good work y'all, the food is amazing

Thinking I was going to a MD type seafood place and hungry and tired I stayed there to order and eat it.I had the seafood special scallops (2) shrimp fish and fries and it was delicious. Got to go to again

Sooooo...it's 6:10 and sign in the window indicates this establishment closes at 8:10 however, the door is locked and the guy inside goes into the. back when he see's two customers outside.Horrible business etiquette!

A phenomenal establishment. By far the best fish I've had on the east coast, and the shrimp is to die for. Not only that, but they donated food to local hospitals for COVID 19. A must try local joint

So these are the new owners and this has to be one of the worst take out meals we've ever gotten. Absolutely horrible and shady they give you literally NO food, charge you top dollar and when you pick up your order it's "tied" up in the plastic take out bag so you can't easily check your meal and you know what, you shouldn't have to. I have no idea how they expect to make a good run at this business they'll be closed before Christmas. Absolutely horrible!

New owners and the food taste sooo much better. It's cleaner and staff very friendly. I recommend this place for quick fried seafood!
