This is a lovely little pharmacy that reminds me of the ones you'll find in small towns and in Puerto Rico. The location is pretty convienant being on a corner in Old Towne's High Street. The sign is kinda of small so you might have to take a double look and the name has also changed to Good Neighbor's.The inside has all your small items needs and theres also a tiny pharmacy in the back. They sell your typical snacks and candies found in other convience stores as well.I haven't used their pharmacy but I would if I was in the area because the people here definitely care about their customers. I came in here to fax some papers since our office fax was down and I needed these to be sent ASAP so I was refered here by the Portsmouth Library. The fax service is in the back and I was attended to quickly. The ladies there are super nice and caring. The people who were getting medicine seemed to get their prescriptions filled quickly.Overall, if I lived in the area this would make this my go to pharmacy because the people and service is great!

Thiis is a home town pharmacy with knowledgeable, friendly staff. This has been my home pharmacy for 15-plus years. The service is worth the downside: the hours. Closed Sunday and by 6pm other days.

They have gone above and beyond for me and my family. Can't beat it. I have had horrible experiences filling prescriptions at CVS and Walgreens over the years. Now that I have experienced the charm and compassion of Olde Town Drug Center, I'm never going back to a chain pharmacy.

Feeling a little under the weather and being away from home, I was able to walk to this pharmacy downtown in search of some meds. Great selection with store brand options and decent prices. Friendly staff and house that suit the weary traveler.

This pharmacy is by far the best in the seven cities. They offer great customer service and always finish filling your scripts usually in under 10 to 15 min or less. The staff is very friendly and are always ready to answer any question you may have. In addition to all those great qualities they will do the best to get you a fair price if you are one of the many of us without health care insurance. They respect that a Dr. has the authority to write prescription he feels would best treat your issues and do not treat you like a drug addict as soon as the see you have a controlled script to fill which is a great relief considering most places make you feel like a criminal or addict the second you turn in a pain medication prescription. This company will always get my continue businesses and I recommend them to any and everyone that needs a great pharmacy experiance.

If you live in or near Old Town Portsmouth, this is the place you will want to make your regular pharmacy. I have several prescriptions to fill each month and when I lost my health insurance I shopped for the best possible price since I would have to pay out of pocket for all of them. Drug Center Pharmacy BEAT WalMart/Sam's/Costco/Walgreens etc etc. by a margin of at least $40 total for my monthly pharmacy costs. In addition it is locally owned and operated by a pharmacist. The staff is friendly, caring, and always polite. It's a slice of small town America in a sometimes too corporate world. And if you are looking for something they don't carry, just ask and they can likely order it for you.
