Old Towne's Alibi

I recently had the pleasure of trying the Maple Burger with Blackberry Jam at Old Towne's Alibi in Petersburg, VA, and it was a truly unique and flavorful experience.The burger itself was cooked to perfection, with a juicy and well-seasoned patty that had just the right amount of char for that classic grill flavor. The maple glaze added a subtle sweetness, complementing the savory beef without overpowering it. The real star of the show, though, was the blackberry jam--it brought a rich, fruity depth that balanced beautifully with the maple, creating an irresistible mix of sweet and savory.The toppings were well thought out, with crispy bacon adding a smoky crunch, and a creamy cheese (perhaps brie or goat cheese) that tied everything together. My group from work decided to celebrate a warm Friday November first evening at the Old Town Alibi outdoor dining area. It is great to see all of the evening activity in old town, mainly because of creative owner-entrepreneurs like Kat.Our fun & friendly server, Amanda, took great care of us. She kept us supplied with water, appetizers and drinks. Our dinners were served all at the same time. Even on a busy night we were never rushed. Old Town Alibi has their standard menu items and offers unique weekly special drinks, apps and entrees. Not only mention a full bar plus a great selection of draft and bottled beer. The ladies loved the fall themed drink specials. Keep up the great work Team Alibi! We will see you again soon!

I got the Big Quesadilla ($14)and Fried Pickles($10). The big quesadillas stuffed with thinly sliced cheese steak, swiss cheese, and Mac N Cheese. It was a pretty average quesadilla, the idea was there but the quality didn't stand out. The pickles were a bit of a letdown, a ton of batter that I could barely taste any pickle flavor. Overall staff and service was average. Food(50%): 6.1Staff/service(25%): 6.0Value(25%): 6.0Overall: 6.1/10

The service was really nice and welcoming! The drinks were tasty and original! We all enjoyed different brunch items and vowed to return to this lovely local restaurant!!

The food here never disappoints. The servers make you feel like family and the crowd is normally lots of friends/family that come here to enjoy good food and great company.

10/10. Best brunch spot in the area! Nicest staff! And beautiful inside/outside dining areas! I got a great turkey, egg BLT. Just wish the cheese was melted(9/10). And had some country fried steak and gravy(7/10). I would definitely come again!

I was skeptical at first as I review the comment feed, but threw caution to the wind and went for it. It was very good! Friendly staff. I liked the look of the place. The food was pretty darn good. The Loaded Onion rings were really good. Deliciously messy as well. Try them!I ordered the Basic Burger +bacon with a side salad to balance out the rings lol. My coworker got the Cuban Dog with fries. It was a very good experience and I will be back! Check them out.

Went for brunch on a SaturdayA pretty decent spot in old town Petersburg. Brunch menu a little shabby, imo, because I'm a classic breakfast kind of girl. One or two of the few few savory breakfast items contained eggs and most of it was slathered in gravy. We sat by the door which was a little chilly on a cold day but a nice window view. Food came out hot and our waitress was kind attentive and upbeat.

Excellent food and libations. We had such a wonderful brunch. The staff were incredibly nice. Great for a chill brunch with the ladies.

Amazing atmosphere and customer service ! I believe Mandy was tending to me total mother attitude needs to keep moving can't stay still, I love her !! To add to it she helped a little cute old lady to her car waiting till her daughter pulled the car up then assisted her out the restaurant into the car ! You won't see this service anywhere else !!
