My family and I had a great time at the farmer's market. We got a lot of great vegetables and fruits from the stands. The macaroons were amazing as well. The hot chocolate/coffee stand was a bit disappointing. Make sure to get there early because some of the vendors sell out quickly. One vendor also gave out free books to children which was also nice. Everyone was very friendly. My children very much enjoyed the flutist.

We have been waiting for this venue to open, well worth the wait . If you are in Richmond , it's worth the drive. My starter was pork belly and black eyed peas . I had the crispy rockfish for my meal . Everything was lovely , visually and on the palate .Everyone in our party of six was pleased. Frits Has created a masterpiece in The Farmers Market!

This place was awesome!! The food was absolutely excellent and you could tell that a lot of effort was put into its preparation and presentation. The bread pudding was probably the highlight of the meal but everything on the menu is great. Additionally, there's a great selection of beers and drinks on the drink menu. I would highly recommend checking out this restaurant!

The market is located in a small area under the bridge in old towne. The vendors are very friendly offering an array of flowers, fresh veggies, baked goods, etc. Be sure to bring cash...

I love a good farmer's market and this place really good. There are a variety of vendors with lots of fresh fruit and veggies, plants, homemade soaps, homemade pies, breads, flowers, etc. I would highly recommend getting to know the person you are buying from though. I did waste $12 on cantaloupe that had ZERO taste. I wish I would have asked if they actually came from a local garden or farm. Parking is no problem but they do get busy pretty early. Parking is in a rock covered lot right at the market. There are signs leading you to the parking lot/market. Having the market under the bridge is a great idea and provides some shade but the early morning rising sun shines right under the bridge. It's a shame they don't have the farmer's market around the old farmer's market building anymore.

Has great potential. Just opened and still working out the kinks which is typical and shouldnt discourage a visit. They did a wonderful job with fixing up the building. It has a really nice large bar in the center of the restaurant and theres 2 levels. I cant wait to return and see the great improvements.

First time here and probably my last time here. Let start off with they gave us fried blowfish, bone and skin on for the complimentary appetizer. Bland and not good. We ordered ceaser salads, more like lettuce, croutons and cheese. Oh and anchovies. No dressing to be found. I ordered a "waygu" burger and my girlfriend ordered fried chicken. Not going to lie the fried chicken was probably the second best thing I had here, after the water. The burger was just bland and chewy, even though it was medium rare.

This WAS a fantastic market but it no longer exists. At the end of the 2015 season, the city of Petersburg told the market they could not return. What an amazingly bad decision! The sellers have disbursed and I'm still trying to find the produce merchants. Some sellers went to Tractor Supply on Route 460.http://www.petersburgarea.org/events/460e-wagner-way-farmers-market
