Oishii Japanese Ramen & Hibachi Grill

I came here one day when it was raining and Oishii has a lovely ambiance. I ended up studying here for two hours at one of the window seats with a lovely bowl of ramen. The food comes in large portions and is very good as well as affordable. Definitely worth a try if you are ever in Williamsburg!

I was craving sushi so my boyfriend and I stopped here for lunch on a visit to Colonial Williamsburg. The space was a lot more spacious than I had imagined. I loved all the natural lighting inside. You order at the counter up front and they bring your food to you. At the end of the meal, you put away your own dishes. I was hoping to order a rainbow roll, but couldn't find one on the menu. Since I was craving salmon, I ordered their poke salmon bowl. It had all my favorite ingredients in it like masago, edamame, cucumbers, and seaweed salad. Overall, I found the bowl to just be ok. My boyfriend felt the same about the chicken dish he ordered. If you're on campus and can't venture out, this isn't a bad pick, just know we were both wishing for stronger flavors. Maybe we ordered the wrong meals. It is in a nice walkable area.

Tried Ramen and it was delicious, great meal on a chilly evening. My daughter had the Hibachi Trio, and she loved it. Tried the shrimp dumplings and it was OK. Service was fantastic and enjoyed our father n daughter evening!

Ramen was okay. Lots of raw cabbages. Not sure why. Doesn't make it tasty. Yakisoba tasted like Chinese lo mein. Not good at all. Eel roll had very little eel in it. Service was lacking.

My favorite sushi spot in Williamsburg! Service is fast, and it's a nice spot to grab a quick meal on the cheaper side. Although there is not much seating and there's a giant tv playing compilation videos, the food here is amazing! Definitely recommend!

The long wait times at other restaurants are 100% worth it. Do not eat here, as the food is flavorless and barely salted. You can tell the owner doesn't really care, as the ambience is disappointing. The floor was dirty and the bathroom was a mess. Watered down soaps and odor-ban bottles next to the toilet that can't flush are never a good sign...

Call ahead to order because sometimes they are slow but the value is worth it they are great.

ordered the miso broth and udon noodle Ramen. The egg was cooked well, the udon was perfectly cooked, but everything was just very bland. No seasoning on the egg, the broth was very mild, and not in a flavorful way. The cabbage was raw, which does not add any flavor to the meal. There could be some good ideas here, but for 15 or more dollars per bowl, I would need a lot more effort to put into the preparation to come back. I give full points for atmosphere and location, and cannot speak for the other options like the sushi or the milk teas.

Food was meh. Under seasoned, decently priced but underwhelming as well. Full of rude college kids from William and Mary who have no concept of it isn't their restaurant. The layout is also strange and limits seating capacity. You will probably have to stand and eat or sit on a side street bench during peak times.Staff, outside the counter lady who was bored of being there, were nice and willing to assist with most anything though.Bottom line: there is way better foot 10 feet in either direction. Save the money and go anywhere else. Best option is somewhere college kids can't afford to go.

The veggie roll was very good, the california roll was a tad bit bland and the fried rice left something to be desired. Food came very fast and service was good. Environment had lots of natural light and very clean.
