Very, very good. But not perfect. I'm wavering between 4 & 5 stars, to be honest. On the plus side, the staff is very helpful and courteous. The selection seems pretty good for the ranges of items carried. The surplus stuff is in good shape. The turnaround time on services is excellent. On the down side, something is wrong with their ID tag machine. The numbers came out correct, but the lettering isn't set along a straight line (jumps up and down). Plus, the embossing is the cheap, shallow kind instead of the better, sharper, longer-lasting deep kind. Not sure if they just bought a crappy ID tag machine or I was just unlucky. Also, the range of service equipment in stock is limited. Not too surprising that there isn't much on display for Army or Air Force types considering the local military population. Still slightly disappointing. Anyway, I needed replacement tags immediately and they were a lot faster than waiting two weeks at another surplus store or goodness-knows-how-long to get tags through my command. Recommend.

My last Army Combat Shirt (ACS) had been torn, and with no pending deployment coming up, it was very unlikely that I was going to get a replacement from the Army. We do however have a rotation through NTC coming up, and I was not looking forward to wearing my full battle-rattle in the Death Valley heat without one. So I took to the internet and I came upon Double Tap selling them at almost a third the price as everywhere else. I was a little leery at that price of what I might actually be getting, but after reading a couple good reviews on here I decided to make my purchase.I received my ACS within a few days, and was pleased to find that it was a brand new, US Army Team Soldier Certified Gear product, with no visible defects. The hand written note on the invoice saying "Thanks! Wes" was a nice touch. Needless to say these guys have won my business and I will continue to shop there for my military needs. Thanks guys.

Stopped in looking for some small pieces of gear that I didn't feel like buying brand new at full price. The selection is great because while there isn't a lot available, all the items he has are usually well priced and sought after items. The store owner was very helpful and personable during the whole visit and was able to find me everything that I was looking for. I will definitely go back again whenever I'm in the area just to see what else he has in stock.

Probably the best spot for any type of modern gear without a hefty price tag. The workers and owners are really good on customer service as well. Not a huge store but enough items in there to keep you looking around.

A really awesome store. They could quite possible have any cool thing you've been looking for. The bald guy could use a lesson in customer service and sales. Kind of turned me off of putting my hard earned money to a place that isn't willing to put value in doing well for a customer. Be interested, be helpful, be excited about selling your product. I'm sure someone else would.

Good gear, good prices. Lots of the name brand stuff like Eagle Industries as well as quality alternatives for a better budget I.e Ferro Concepts. The staff there is ready to help and has an excellent way of explaining what and what not to buy regardless if you are new to gear or exploring new options. Pricing is identical to Amazon and on hand there so if you need it now for cheap it's your place.They also carry Hesco plates for a reasonable in store price if you want em immediately and restock often

It's always fun to pop in there and get some new gear. Top notch selection for tactical gear without a crazy markup.

They are overpriced and not that great of selection. Won't ever go back or recommend.

I get an itch to go buy some military surplus gear whenever I'm about to go on a trip. I recently came in here to buy some moral patches and I went on a shopping spree. I found some items that I would consider hard to get (at least get without going online) such as a good stock of MREs and I found a couple of OTIS military cleaning kits that were complete and for multiple calibers. This one deluxe kit I bought here goes for over 100 bucks brand new and I got it for half that price here. I bought two cleaning kits, a deluxe and a 5.56mm kit that would have cost well over 200 bucks online and I bought it here for a fraction of that price.I used some of the MREs for a recent outing here in Virginia and it was very good and fresh. None of the MREs had holes and were packed nicely.I would say this place is rather fair on prices. I found various miscellaneous items here and there that I picked up. As with any military surplus items, it's a hit or miss as far as finding random items and you just have to constantly go in and hope they got something you like and can buy.Overall I enjoyed this place and will continue to come here. I do hope they get some surplus slings, especially the kind that includes the paracord loop slings. I had bought a surplus one years back and I used it from hunting to nearly everything but unfortunately it's becoming old and I fear it'll be a one of a kind item before I can find another one.

Small store with limited stock but abundant patches if that's your thing. Very helpful staff and although GSS will always be my primary this is a good backup if GSS doesn't have something common in stock
