Always a fun experience!!!!! My husband really looks like a kid in a candy store. The food is really good here. This is our go to spot when we are in Corolla. We split our meal and the staff were nice enough to actually split the plates and bring us our own plate. It was really cool of them For beer you get this wrist band that you hold up to dispense the beer and pay for what you drink

Really happy we found this Tap House. Service was fine, basically a few workers working a handful of inside tables. They gave solid recommendations on food and explained how the taps worked for the beer. The beer options were good, even though a few options were out. Food, the apps were solid. The chicken nachos, as well as the pickles were both really good. The crab cake sandwich, brisket sandwich and chicken strips were all served with really good fries! Seating in the restaurant was a little tight and limited, but overall a great place to grab a beer, or two, or three. Cheers!

Tucked in a shopping center is a self-serve tap house with savory eats! The grilled chicken Caesar wrap was light and crisp with the salty homestyle fries. Then, to my surprise, the Pork Belly BLT stole the show! The fried green tomato was a wonderful pairing with the pork belly and thick sourdough bread. Will be back for that sandwich!

Ambiance is local fave vibe. No frills, just good service and good food! We were greeted with a smile and told to sit anywhere. Neat concept where beer on various taps that you pick from. Get your own cup, pick your beer, self-serve,scan to self pay. Absolutely love their smoked brisket nachos, ingredient that brought this to the top were the pickled jalapeños. Our burgers were good, definitely fresh beef! We ordered the southern bell burger and the Far East burger. Both delicious with well seasoned fries.highly recommended.

Continued 5 STARS kudos for OTW. We've been a zillion times since my first review 2 years ago and it would have gotten too boring to append a zillion 5 star review updates. But, this time, I wanted to post more pics so decided to provide a review update at the same time. And you know what? Nothing really new to report from my first review. :) OTW continues to be a reallllllly cool, small intimate Cheers-type place with a "where-everybody-knows-your-name type feel (without the Cheers-type bar but going one better - a "self serve" tap-your-own-beer from a great selection of rotating and regular beers (ft local and craft), ales, hard ciders, etc with taps literally "off the wall."The owners work (hard) IN the business (cooking in the kitchen!). This place caters to not solely tourists/visitors but also locals - and they all mix and mingle together in harmony in a really fun, happy environment. On the walls hang side by side TVs playing all the different sports events. The menu isn't huge - actually that's GREAT because they can tend to a focused offering. What the menu DOES have are creative items THAT ACTUALLY TASTE GOOD (what a concept amiright? haaa). And all their food pairs awesomely with THE COLDEST MOST CHILLED TAPPED BEERS EVER.Prices are super reasonable including the tapped beverages on the wall which are measured and charged by volume by using a sensor device on a bracelet that you hold up to your beverage of choice. Pour as much or as little as you want - that's the beauty of paying by volume - you don't have to commit to buying a whole bottle or even a full pour by a bartender. GENIUS. Continue to LOVE their smoked beef brisket nachos. SO. GOOD. That's my go-to. I make it my meal. Paired with a cold brewski, that's really all you need. The rest of my crew swears by pretty much all the other sandwiches on the menu. The fries are hand cut and cooked well done. And they feature local carch in their recipes - can't get fresher than that. This place is NOT a cater-just-to-tourists-during-the-busy-season kind of place. They're open year round and they don't price gouge just because they can. Their prices are VERY fair for what you get and though I wish OTW continued and increased success, I also wish they could stay under the radar and continue to be a hidden gem. tee hee #selfishThey don't take reservations and keep the wait list fair. Walk in, put your name on the list with your phone number and they'll call you when your table is ready. And they're impressively accurate when they tell you how long the wait will be. (I've been known to call over just to check to see how long the wait is.)Just really love OTW for its allllll around goodness.

Both of our lunches we pretty darn good. Service was a bit slow and they don't have a lot of indoor seating so be ready to get wet if it rains. Fries were food and so were the brisket nachos.

After a 9hr drive from NJ, we (luckily) stumbled upon this gem. Get a cup and an RFID bracelet; pick your tap(s) and get charged by the oz. Great bbq brisket nachos, staff is friendly, as are the local patrons. Check it out for a laidback meal, some beer, and good convo. If you're really lucky, the locals will tell you where the local watering hole is for some good live music and spirits after dinner.

Loved it. Amazing concept with amazing food. My only gripe, if I had to offer one, was the size of the dining area. Feels cramped, because it's just too small. But, that's easily overlooked by all the positives. The food was great. Service was prompt and attentive, but not used car salesman irritating. A spot like this, in a place like Corolla, is rare.

For the folks on here complaining about wait times - are you new here? If this is your first time ever to the Outer Banks you may not know how competitive getting a table for dinner is going to be, especially with a large group. The number of restaurant options available here can't possibly keep up with the amount of vacationers this town sees, especially during peak season. All things considered, Off The Wall does a decent job of accommodating large parties. If you're planning on coming here, consider sending someone ahead of time to put your name and party down on the list, and be prepared to wait. Once you're in, Off The Wall serves up a variety of beers on tap that you can sample and self-serve during your visit, along with solid bar food that's a healthy mix of the staples infused with local ingredients like the catch of the day. Decent kids menu and family-friendly environment. A fun place to drink beer if it's raining outside.
