I cannot believe that a place with so many kids would not offer a decent waiting room for parents. I am here sitting on the floor, looking at these thousand of payers (tuition and registration aren't cheap) and parents sitting on the floor. The few chairs I see are very uncomfortable. This shows people the lack of interest this pace has in making sure families have a good experience.

Super on the fence with this school. The instructors are more interested in socializing and staring off into space than teaching the kids anything. My daughter has a fun time when she's there, but doesn't learn anything week to week. She is often passed over when instructors are walking by and checking how students are doing, and she is very new to this, so she needs a little extra help from time to time. This is not happening. At this point, it is a safety issue more than anything else, as if she does a move incorrectly, she could hurt herself. I would like to see more engagement from the teachers, and less socializing and screwing around. We have had only a month of lessons so far. I will update if anything changes. As for now, I'm ready to pull her from this "school."

Based on only ONE trial class, I've decided to write this review- so keep that in mind. I took my 3 and 8 year old to their first classes ever and I was not impressed. They had a blast taking turns on the trampoline and standing in line to roll on the mat but there was no instruction taking place. The classes looked as if it was EVERYONE'S first class ever. They were absolutely getting a workout and building valuable gymnastics muscles, but I'm sure there were kids there who had already been to 50-100 classes and were as far along as my kids. I guess the only solution is private lessons, but I was hoping to have a better balance of fun and instruction without the "seriousness" and cost of a private class.

Both of my daughters attend gymnastics classes here. One is in the preschool class and one is in the beginner girls class. Both coaches are very patient with their students. They seem to genuinely care. They keep a great dialog up with the parents so you always know how your child is doing.

It's great for toddlers. But once they get a little older, it's just a circuit. They tell the kids what to do but I dont see them physically helping them. When I asked why they don't help the kids master their skills, I ws told it was more of a circuit class. So I recommend for toddlers. But after 5, I don't recommend. I just wish they would actually help the kids learn head stands , cartwheels ect instead of continuing to just watch them week after week with bad form.

Based on our 5 minutes of our first class I would give them 0 stars. My son is 3 and is not used to me not being on the "field" with him. That being said he's been playing soccer and is fine on his own.Gymnastics was a brand new concept for him today.Parents are asked to stay behind a gate. I was able to walk him out to his group and introduce myself. Once class started he began to cry and didn't follow the group when they moved on. The coach walked him over to me, along with the grumpy lady who popped out from behind the front desk. It seems to me she likes to be around to spread her bad attitude on to others.Thy said he may need a couple weeks in the parent tot class to get used to it. I said I think if he sees what you guys are doing he will want to participate. I was informed they couldn't do one on one. Which I understand, however I don't know if I consider helping a child for 5 minutes one on one. They didn't want to show him encouragement and gave him 1 shot. He then came to me and I asked him to listen and if he wanted to go with his group. He walked back out but stopped to play, I called for him prepared to call it, when here she's come from behind the front desk to get my child. She said he can't be out here for safety reasons I let her know I understood. She continued to go on, at that point I told her to calm down and there was no reason to be rude. It was his first class and if he would have been given a chance he may have enjoyed it.Toddlers need to be pushed sometimes and that's what I was trying to do as his parent. Do not choose ocean tumblers if your child is at all dependent on you. They have NO compassion or patients .

My daughter and I visited Virginia for about 10 days. During that time I enrolled her in Ocean Tumblers Tot's Camp. Ava woke up every morning that week and wanted to go to camp. Ava had so much fun that she asked to go back the next week. She especially liked her teacher Katelyn who was patient and nice. She also gained many skills that week and was able to do some of them at home. The facility was absolutely beautiful and organized. It was also extremely clean. I appreciated that the bathrooms were newly remodeled and beautiful. There also was air conditioning throughout the building which is really nice on those hot days. The front desk staff was courteous and were able to answer my questions about the programs that they offered at the gym. There is plenty of parking in the lot so we were able to get to class on time. I recommend Ocean Tumblers because of the quality programs they offer, professionalism of the staff, and my daughter just loved coming to this gymnasium.

My daughter has yet to learn anything she didn't already know before starting. She is 5 classes in and it seems as if they aren't being shown any actual skills. Each class just seems like a warmup for the whole hour. I'm disappointed because my daughter wants to do well but doesn't have the opportunity to learn. If she doesn't do something right they just move on to the next kid with no instructions on improvement.
