Ocean Resort

Get updated! That's the part that's always ignored. Have we ever said, I'll take care of it tomorrow? Then the days, weeks, months and years go by. Seems like it is as it is since the 1980's.The breath taking view of the ocean is the only thing that keeps them out of trouble. Our stay was marred by the use of one elevator.Carpet torn, bathroom door touches toilet seat. Mold in bathroom. Outdoor seat on balcony, you couldn't even sit back. See pictures attached.Parking is a squeeze and luckily if you can climb to the back door of your car or climb out the window.Would not recommend, sorry but for $400 a night is a waste of money.

Not bad. Not great! You get what you pay for...Amazing view from room and easy access to boardwalk. Hotel was quite a bit outdated. Flimsy plastic chairs on balcony. Ours was even broke. Some stains found. I will say the sheets and bed were clean. We had the worst water pressure in our room. Overall it was quiet and the staff was friendly and helpful. Worst is the parking. If you're not in early, you have to go park across the block in another tiny parking lot. Again if it's a night or two stay and you're on a budget. This is your place. If your looking for luxury and modern - I would look around

If you're really broke and want an oceanfront hotel room this may work. But some issues we encountered were: water not hot enough to take a shower, sink water not clear enough to use for anything period, bathtub not draining, bathtub very dirty in appearance, extremely strong urine smell in hallway, strong urine/cat smell in room, paint peeling, TV flickering to black every 20 seconds or so. So overall... amazing sunrise but didn't feel clean enough to even eat inside the room. The staff was all extremely nice and helpful though.

If I could give this zero stars I would. The photos and reviews provided to Expedia did NOT show or reflect the extent of this hotel. Ocean "Resort," showed what they wanted to be seen. Not to mention we had to pay the resort fee of $12, the room isn't even worth that. I have very young children; one of which is only 9 months old. It was dated, nasty, there was chipping wood on the furniture, the paint and popcorn ceiling was chipping, stains on the bed frame, NO mattress protectors, cords laying around everywhere, there was absolutely no moving room in the bathroom I had to shimmy into the bathroom. The only "good" thing was the view. I spent as little time as I could in this hotel. When I confronted the hotel they said there was no management and when Expedia tried to contact the property so we could get a refund they were very rude and no refund was granted. I will never stay here again. I urge you to not stay here either. I never budget on hotels this is what happens when you do. Spent the extra to have a nice stay.

Room 322 has mold and cockroaches! Disgusting! And that doesn't even take into account that the ceiling seems to be falling down and the decor is outdated and furniture is worn out.

Water backed up sink and bath tub called the front desk janitor supposed to have up I gets to the front desk receptionist tells me he couldn't find the room plus light was blinking the whole while.

Do not stay here! ESPECIALLY WITH KIDS!!!! This hotel can't even be considered a "hotel." It's a motel, and an awful one at that. The rooms were disgusting, and I had to go through four other rooms to get to our other one. There was mold, makeup, and blood, as well as many other disgusting bodily fluids that were scattered around the hotel itself as well as in the rooms. On top of the bugs in picture frames, there were cockroaches in the stairways to the pool and in the hallway. The room was overall gross, and the bathroom was even worse. The toilet was gross and uncleaned, along with the floors, the shower, and the sink. When I was in the shower, going to turn the water off, the handle for the temperature of the water flew off. Our door to the bathroom was dingy and old, and the lock was almost falling off. The beds didn't have bed bugs (that we saw), but the whole room had this feeling that was just overall icky and disgusting. The second you walk anywhere in this hotel, there is an overwhelming scent of cigarette smoke. The only good thing about this hotel was the ocean view. On top of everything I have said, the staff was rude, and they didn't have proper security. I wish I could have given this place 0 stars, but 1 is the lowest I could go. DON'T STAY HERE!!!!!

This place was a clean resort but not one memorable experience. Nothing good to say yet nothing bad to say either. Everyone did their job with no smile or frown. Just moving in monotone. The balcony was nice but open to everyone's balcony (no privacy). They offer no breakfast or newspapers but they are in the heart of the strip. Great views from the balcony however no pool or playground what so ever. Just mediocre! I don't know to refer anyone here or not honestly. ‍

We booked the hotel so we wouldn't have to drive 3 hours home after a concert. Our first clue should have been when another guest told us "if you have a parking spot, don't move your car unless you want to look for parking" The hotel has two very tiny lots, one at the hotel and one a block away that is VERY tight. We got back to the hotel at midnight and there was only 1 space available in the overflow lot so i didn't have a choice but to take it. The next morning when i came out, my truck had over $5,000 in damage to it. No cameras in the lot. Asked the hotel to call the police for me so i could file a report, no, here's the number you call. Then there was the hotel itself. The elevator is very slow and squeaks and moans and you wonder if you are going to get stuck. It's disgusting and the buttons are brown and look like they've been smeared with feces. You get off the elevator and the hallway is hot and humid. Get to our room, there is a nice fist sized hole in the bathroom door, the AC won't cool the room to a comfortable temperature, the outlets are so worn they won't hold a plug in and the Wi Fi is so weak it's not usable. It says they have a pool but i didn't see one. Don't think it had any type of breakfast either but even if they did i don't think i would eat anything from there. We didn't complain about the amenities, we just wanted a place to park and sleep and somehow they managed to even fail on that front. We contacted the hotel following our stay and gave them a week to contact us before writing a review. We have yet to hear from them. If you stay here you are best off illegally parking and having your car impounded and paying the $140, to get it out of impound, at least it will be safe. I honestly do not know how this hotel gets 7 stars on other sites. it's dirty, nasty and falling apart.
