Ocean Eagle Kayak

What a great experience! We saw SO MANY dolphins and had the best time! Stephen was very thoughtful in his instruction and gave us plenty of opportunities to practice/develop our kayaking skills and was very patient and personable when doing so. He was respectful of our time and even let us stay out longer than expected as none of the group had plans after. I highly recommend Ocean Eagle and love Stephen's easy going vibes!

If you've ever thought about ocean kayaking, of all the kayak companys I've tried, the best one was Ocean Eagle Kayak Adventures. The care and instructions Stephen and Courtney provided before launching was awesome and comforting. Once they helped us launch, they had us practice before heading out. We all had such an exciting adventure. We found and followed a large pod of dolphins, they were all around us. Such a memorable day. I highly recommend Ocean Eagle Kayak.

I highly recommend!I was supposed to kayak tandem with my husband because I was 7 months pregnant. But my husband got sick and couldn't make it so I went alone and it was awesome. So totally worth it.The guides easily made adjustments for a single instead of a tandem and I kept up with the group with no problems! I much rather have my own kayak than share one because the freedom on the water feels so good.I have kayaked many times before but this was my first ocean going experience. It was different and great and I loved it. The guides were excellent. We saw lots of dolphins. The early morning was definitely the way to go to beat the boats and sun.

So I don't normally do groupons unless they really offer something special or different. I only kayak'd once before in very calm waters and was initially hesitant about this since you got out into the ocean. No problem! Just got back today and this was a great experience. Whenever people come in to visit me, I will def take them on this trip. It's about a 2.5 hour adventure and they have times at 7:30 AM and 10:30AM. They will take you to see dolphins in the open waters where there are also turtles. I suggest going in the morning because that is when the dolphins are more likely to be there (it's their feeding time). Remember to bring towels, water bottle, sun block and sun glasses!!

Fun, exciting, relaxing, physical, peaceful... So much to describe about this experience. Doing something like this is definitely a must with a group of friends although two of you in a tandem kayak are just fine. An easy way You start off at the Aquarium and then make your way toward the Oceanfront. Within 20 minutes we were making our way toward the ocean which is under the bridge that starts General Booth Blvd. Unfortunately, the waves were too rough to get into the ocean but we still had a great tour of Virginia Beach from a water view perspective. I didn't realize we had some amazing waves but it looked like hurricane season made for some exciting surfing for the folks hanging out in Croatan.We did a neighborhood tour where you find all the baller houses and a nature tour where you can see all the crazy birds. Cash and check are acceptable payments. They have a suggested $10 per person tip for the tour guide. I do believe the cost of the tour is significantly less if you like them on Facebook. I'm definitely looking forward to doing this again.

Great time today. Our guide Steven was on time and ready to go. Had a quick lesson and we went out. Perfect conditions. We literally joined a school of dolphins and they were swimming under our boat. Guide very knowledgeable and equipment great. Definitely would recommend!

Great kayak tour! The guys were great and helpful with us being first time kayaking. We got there early and the guys were already there setting up the kayaks and ready to go! They've been doing this for 12 years and would definitely recommend touring with them! They also take great pictures on your tour and put them on Facebook.

We had an awesome trip with helpful, knowledgeable, fun guides. Relaxing morning on the ocean with amazing wildlife sightings! Definitely worth the price!

We have used this service twice and I highly recommend Ocean Eagle Kayak. My husband and I are novice kayakers but when you get done one session, you feel like a pro! The first time we went, we were prepped extremely well as newbies. I felt very comfortable. We traveled into the ocean and saw dolphins. There were a lot of water sports using boats and skis in the water not far away. The waves made me seasick. I got so sick my guide noticed and towed us to the inlet. I felt much better and could complete the tour. I really had a fun time despite my moment!The second time we went, the water was extremely turbulent. Instead of canceling our tour, our guide changed the path and prepped us what to expect before we even began. It was so much fun!! We were so happy to have completed the tour. I highly recommend this company. You will always have an enjoyable experience.

Had an amazing time on the water with Steven , even despite less than ideal weather conditions. He was an amazing guide, extremely attentive and very knowledgeable. As novice kayakers, we were a bit nervous but Steven was always there to answer questions and help out when needed. The whole family had an amazing time and we'll definitely be coming back this summer!
