Food is amazing. My favorite spot for breakfast. Good vibes and nice service. Wish I lived closer to this place honestly!

Bagel was great! Generous amount of cream cheese. Gotta ask for it yo be toasted! No public WIFI. Disappointed. Planned on working. Good selection of beverages from a cooler. No ice and need to ask for a cup.

Smell of in house fresh baked bagels fill the air as you enter. Seating for 8 is available but mostly friendly for takeout order. Ordered hungry man's breakfast on jalapeño and cheddar bagel and spinach, feta and egg white on egg bagel, both toasted.Packaged to go in paper bag. Service to take your order at counter is quick but wait of 20 minutes.

I enjoyed my food! I got the salt bagel with veggie spread. Service was good and fast even though they had a well deserved line. The ambiance was cute and simple for a bagel cafe

Definitely filling portions. May be an estimated 20-30 min wait if it is busy, would visit again.

OMGosh this place is amazing. We were staying overnight on our way thru Virginia and stumbled on this place (thankfully, because our hotel had a snafu with the complimentary breakfast and we had to get on the road). We got everything egg bagels with egg and bacon. Delicious! Bagel was fluffy and super tasty. Bacon and eggs cooked perfectly. Staff was friendly and all 8 people I saw were working very efficiently and in time with each other. Ambience was as expected and welcoming. Restroom was clean. We hope to come back on another trip. Thanks for a great meal!

The bagels were huge, flavorful, fluffy and soft. The prices are fair and portions were fine.We visited on a Sunday morning and ordered a breakfast sausage, egg, and cheese bagel, a breakfast platter (2 eggs, bacon, hashbrowns), and six bagels. It took 30 minutes to receive our order!!!! 30 minutes for what seemed like it could have been a drive through order at Dunkin next door!To be fair - They DID tell us at check out that it would be around that wait time, but my head cannot understand why it takes that long, even with a line ... we could have sat down at a proper breakfast place and had a better hot meal for around the same price. (Their breakfast sandwich's sausage portion was kind of sad)There is seating available but keep in mind most people are sitting waiting or standing around the lobby instead of actually eating their food inside. I would definitely come back for their bagels but skip any hot food that needs to be cooked or prepared a la carte.

I grew up in Montreal, so I grew up with a different kind of bagel, the best kind. I can't find Montreal bagels around these parts, so the bagels at NY Bagel Cafe seems like the next best thing! Taking into consideration the type of bagels I find in America (huge, dense and tiny hole), these were pretty good. I heard the family is from upstate, so that is already a good start, considering New Yorkers are known for their bagels.For my first visit, I ordered a breakfast bagel with egg, bacon, mozzarella on an everything bagel, toasted. Wow, this bad boy was pretty generous in size and I was stuffed by the end. I should have saved half and saved the other half for later. BUT, there it wasn't. It was gone.Again, for an American bagel, the exterior of the bagel had a nice outer crust, crispy with a nice, even distribution of the everything seasoning. Asking them to toast the bagel for the sandwich was definitely a nice move. The interior of the bagel is dense and chewy. If you squeeze the bagel, it had a nice bounce to it. The egg was cooked perfectly, over hard (but just cooked enough without it being rubbery), bacon crispy and the mozz had just melted enough. I also ordered a baker's dozen to take home, a mix of jalapeno cheddar, everything, sesame, blueberry and French Toast. I really appreciated the fact that they wrapped the French Toast in parchment paper before adding it to the baker's dozen. They definitely get bonus points for that. It is dusted with some powdered sugar, so it's a nice gesture to be like "before you ask, we thought of it already, here's your sweet bagel not touching your savory ones".It will take me awhile to get through the baker's dozen, even with help. The bagels are so large, I can only get through one half at a time. So, before they grow moldy, I already halved them some of them and froze them. Hope they freeze well! Stay tuned...Things to note:- during my visit, it was pretty busy. I think they have online ordering so try that if you're in a hurry.- limited seating. I saw 3 tables of which all were occupied. It's a pretty compact space for their kitchen and seating, so the tables seemed out of place with the long line forming. - they have a pretty good variety of flavors, but they make limited amounts of each, so if it's sold out, try again tomorrow.Enjoy, Friends and never stop exploring!

Literally this is a two for one review, what I mean is I went once and intended on reviewing but have been back again since then so I'll post what I got on both occasions lol. When you first walk in it smells so good you might change your mind about what you went there for, there's always a good crowd and a line but it moves! The first time I went I ordered bacon egg and cheese bagel with chives cream cheese on a toasted garlic bagel...divine! Make sure to specify that you want the bagel toasted when you order. It was just the right amount of everything, each bite was delicious! This time I got the lox deluxe which comes with smoked salmon, capers, plain cream cheese, tomato and red onion on a toasted garlic bagel one word, SAVORY. It was literally perfect amount of everything the ratios are just everything never too much or not enough of something. I always get an orange juice to make it a perfect breakfast but there's other selections as well. An observation I made on my visits is the hot bagels take a bit longer due to the demand and the preparation vs the cold bagels take so if you're pressed for time be mindful of that. The staff are gentle with you if you have questions because it can be a bit overwhelming and the line grows fast but they are always happy to answer your questions, I appreciate that. I think I'm a regular at this point, go give them a try!

Been here a few times so I'm not worried about waiting 15 for a a good bagel. But I ordered the hungry man special and sadly didn't get any eggs. I didn't even notice til I was halfway done because it's still just good bagel. They also didn't have any chocolate milk which I ordered, so I was a little sad about that.
