TWENTY-SEVEN DOLLARS FOR A PIE? That was my initial thought Saturday as I finally decided to purchase a chicken pot pie at East Beach Farmer's Market . Then I thought, Well I've spent more on less I'm sure it won't be bad.Now after feeding three of us for 2 dinners and lunch for me, my only regret is I have passed by their booth so many times and only now trying a savory pie! Literally like Mom would make (I mean if your Mom make delicious pot pies like mine does)! Flakey crust (but not too flakey) HUGE chunks of real chicken, veggies and whatever delicious secret sauce was in there binding it all together!Check them out next time you are at a local market or check out their IG page to order (they deliver too!).And back to the cost...if you average that out per person per meal you're looking at less than a value meal at a fastfood joint for a homemade from scratch pie!
