A pretty phenomenal menu for a neighborhood bar and Grill, they also have terrific musical groups come play, I love the cheeseburger with sweet potato fries, and my favorite keto food is their raw tuna bites

We came in for the nfl games this past weekend and sat at the bar. I wish we would have gotten the bartenders name as he was SO friendly! We ordered a couple beers a MASSIVE quesadilla (I forgot to take a picture) and some steamed spiced shrimp! Both were awesome and we will be back!

Sunday8/6/236:47pmThe restaurant is packed! That's a great thing. It's a family style restaurant but could also be a casual date spot. Nobody working here gives off the vibe they love their job. That being said, they are a little busy. I'm not really hungry but I wanted something so I will order the crab dip & a cup of homemade chili with a sweet tea. Ok- I was told they don't have the crab dip anymore. They haven't updated the menu yet. They also don't have sweet tea. So I opted for nothing to drink and ordered lobster bisque. The lobster bisque was ok. Would I order it again? Probably not. I also think it has imitation Lobster meat. It doesn't taste real. $9.08 Maybe I'll come back when I'm hungry and try the Ruben.

Admittedly I haven't been there since the pandemic, but I was so glad to look in yelp and see that one of my old favorites was still in business! It's usually relatively quiet. The seating isn't super comfortable but I'm just grateful to not have a wait. And everything I've eaten there has just been outstanding. Crab bisque especially!

Nice evening at the Northside Grill. Delicious dinner and good music.The Chocolate cake was incredible. Only problem is the sweet waitress brought 2 forks and my husband almost ate it all.We look forward to another visit.

NOTE TO ALL - call before you go. The posted hours on FB and Yelp are not up to date. Went by today (Sunday) for lunch, supposedly open at 11. The place is locked up and dark. Website is down. Usual sign with the hours is gone from the door. I would think they were closed down completely, but a friend advises me that she *thinks* they are now open only Monday through Friday due to staffing issues. A sign on the door would be nice, or updates online.I hope this is a temporary situation. This has been a nice place to catch a good lunch.EDIT: We reached out to Northside Grille on FB, and they confirm that they are only able to staff up for weekdays at present. They hope to return to a full schedule soon.

Best, beautiful patio in Richmond where you can bring your behaved dogs. Live music inside and on the patio and fun staff! Great neighborhood feel with walkability. Large parking lot right in front of the business.
