Northern Neck BBQ

A beautiful setting that uses second hand furniture!! It's really a cool vibe. Live music on the day we were there. The food was good. We had pulled pork, brisket, catfish and a bowl. The staff were very friendly and it seemed like there were a lot of regulars.

Great BBQ. This place never disappoints. Loaded fries, pulled pork, brisket sandwiches, chicken wings, corn bread....all delicious. My kids love the Mac and cheese and they also have a variety of desserts to choose from. Friendly service and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Live music most weekend. This place is seasonal so catch them while you can!

This is a nice BBQ place that will frequently host local bands. The brisket and pulled pork are great. Many of the sides are good too. Open air, open barn seating which is very nice. Only negative is there is no way to determine when they are open or closed. Coming from out of town we plan on stopping in and you don't know the days and times they are open, so we don't rely on them anymore.

Clearly it's a meaty BBQ place, but I was hoping for at least ONE vegetarian main option. There wasn't. We basically ordered all the sides and stayed for the fun ambiance. It's essentially a big barn with beautiful hanging lights and chandeliers. You order at a window and get a buzzer. Lots of picnic tables of all sizes-- we shared a table with a few other couples and enjoyed the live music. There was a bar, seemed like mostly beer, but I'm not sure. The max and cheese side and the potato salad were delicious. The coleslaw and beans okay.

Delicious food. Haven't been for the music events. The barn was a bit chilly. But people just need to wear a coat. The food is worth the visit. They all of the barbecue sauce.

The pulled pork sandwich that I had was "dry as a bone." Coupled with the high price, I don't recommend this establishment.

Not good at all. Barbecue is fatty and yet still dry. Staff is unfriendly. Sides are just okay. Have tried it a few times but won't go back.

The BBQ is great. Stopped by after work. The environment was a peaceful setup, with friendly staff and delicious food and desserts.The service was terrific. I ate my food so fast I didn't get a photo.
