Norfolk Latino Music Festival

It was nice. Wonderful crowd. Great music and food.It is well laid out. Children's soccer field, "food court", and sponsors booths.I expected to see traditional dancing presentations, more than one vendor selling Latino snacks and treats. No one sold clothing or jewelry that most of the woman in the crowd came to purchase. Smiles! This was the 14th Annual Lationo festival and people of all race came out to support the Latino community. I will be back next year.

I had a wonderful time at this festival. The music was nice, and the crowd was friendly and most of all fun. They had great music going on. It was nice to go to an event where you know it was super safe to be there. While there, I met some nice people from Greater24 which is positive news. I met a navy officer straight out of school who I took a photo for the two nice ladies at Greater24. The highlight of my night was waiting at De Rican Chef tent for the delicious food. There was a LONG line. They ran out of rice and beans. It's ok they still had great options still. I also saw the YELP table and got a free hand sanitizer! That was awesome. Overall it was a fun experience and I will go again. Hopefully they make this event two nights instead of one next year.

So much fun, very well organized. The only issues I had was the food truck lines and the wait times. Other then that, family friendly.
