I'm surprised how quick they are to not only sit you down but bringing out the food as well. Was craving sushi and this place had a dinner AYCE for $25.99 per person which includes sashimi.The decor is traditional and clean; however, I'm just there for the food. They still have the pickup set up as COVID style through a window which is cool.

Came in a little late but luckily still relieved good service. Was sat quickly and the food was quick and hot. Tried a few things such as edemame, which come not salted, so that's and some rolls such as the volcano and shrimp tempura roll. The volcano pieces were pretty big and shrimp tempura was lightly sauced with soy. The chicken fried rice was was pretty heavy on soy and chicken not super seasoned, but still good. The place may not be flashy and just look like a generic sushi shop in a shopping center but I'd certainly go again. Don't let the looks fool you!

It's been a while since I've been here, maybe 5 years or so. I remember it not being memorable but since we were wanting sushi and In the shopping center this AYCE Sushi will make do.They have a dedicated take out window for curb side pick up that I found to be convenient so you don't have to deal with going inside the restaurant. It was few people inside the night we went so the service was pretty fast. The staff was nice and attentive. The food came out hot but the taste and quality of it was so-so. The fried rice was a clump of rice with soy sauce so my hubs was not happy about that. The chicken teriyaki tasted good and it had a little crispy pieces that we liked.For the sushi- not good. The "real crab meat" that was part of the sushi (King roll) was "real fake" or a very watered down version of crab meat. Texture, color, taste is telling of it. Cucumber salad was good, but the skin of the cucumber was too tough. Perhaps not the right cucumber used for this salad.Shrimp tempura roll - you can't go wrong with that so if we go back it will be definitely for this roll and the chicken teriyaki.

Great little hole in wall all you can eat lunch for $14.99. 4 stars because the rice just wasn't right for me. The rice was a bit dry and lacked something. Not sure what but it didn't have the same flavor most sushi rice has. BUT we enjoyed quite a few rolls all very tasty. I added photos with description on the photo. Miso soup and clear soup were good. Gyoza, shumai, edamame, spring rolls all fresh and tasty. The green tea and red bean ice cream were a nice finish to the meal.We went at 1130. It wasn't too busy. Service for us was fine. No issues there. Probably wouldn't drive out this way just for here but would eat here again. Volcano Sushi in Norfolk is still our pick for the all you can eat sushi lunch.

Ninja AYCE can now be checked off of my "foodar". I loved the extensive menu options and price for lunch. The food was approximately a 3.5. BBQ squid was my favorite. The AYCE places I enjoy don't offer BBQ squid, so this was a plus. Seafood soup was clear soup with shrimp and veggies. Not bad, but I added some soy sauce for extra flavor. Nigiri were skimpy and super duper roll was ok. The rice IMO needed more rice vinegar, salt, and sugar. It was also overcooked. Ambiance - I wasn't feeling the plastic hanging from the ceiling, but better than nothing. I saw brooms and gnats that I had to shoo away. Service - great! Waitress checked on me and made sure water was filled. If I lived closer and was craving sushi, I'd return and give them another try. Especially the cooked food. There were more menu options I wanted to try, but was full and over the gnats.

Cooked my yakitori skewer like they were an angry ex boyfriend, or else this was left over from yesterday and they refried it today. Worst food I've ever had. I was hungry so I had to eat one of them. It's still in my teeth and I'm probably gonna have it there till tomorrow. I work night shift in a hospital and most places close early so I had no choice but to eat some of them . I also got the mango boba which was very good, I'd say 4 stars but the yakatori took 2 stars away in all fairness.

I would NOT recommend anyone to eat here. First off the waitress claimed the AC was on, and blowing. It felt very hot and clammy in there AS THE WAITRESS WAS AT THE FRONT FANNING HERSELF WITH A MENU!. All of the Teriyaki sauces were VERY sweet and thick. As well as spicy, and sweet. Please save your money!
