Nico's Tacos

Unassuming from the outside but cute on the inside, you get transported to an interior that reminds you of a Mexican hut/counter look, with streamers, piñatas in a corner. Very friendly staff greets you with a welcoming smile. I ordered the chorizo breakfast tacos, come in 3. I ordered carryout, was ready in 10 minutes. They gave chili and green sauce. The tacos were still warm when I got home. Super delicious and fresh ingredients!

Amazing food!! The people were nice and they made their own hot sauce that I cannot get enough of. Their all day breakfast burritos are a staple of every few weekends

I was so impressed with the tacos the last visit that i had to come back for more. I will say it wasn't the same experience as the 1st time. The tacos weren't as flavorful, they weren't hot, and it was about a 10 minute wait. The wait wasn't a problem but i did expect the food to be hot since we were already there. The tortillas got limp and it was downhill from there. But when they're hot and fresh they really are good!!! I also got beans and rice. It was a very small portion and they spilled in the bag because he put my order and my daughters order in the same bag and it was just too much. So the box got smashed and opened and the rice and beans spilled inside... Bummer!!It had to just be an off day. I will still continue to eat here because I'm hoping the next visit will be better. You can't beat Taco Tuesday $1.25 tacos. Check them out!!

We were in the area and decided to stop on for lunch.Little bit of a wait for our food, but it was worth it!Our burritos were huge and everything was fresh and tasty. I had to take half of mine home.Wish they were closer to us because I'd be a regular customer!

Super great local restaurant. They make some really great soup as well. Nice selection too for your comfort. Highly recommended for the food. Don't worry about the decorations or anything like that. It's very clean and as stated really good quality food.

About a 2-2.5: Nico's Tacos offers breakfast burritos and tacos, tortas, burritos, fajitas, seafood options, and soups. We came here to check out their tacos while in the area.We tried the Fish Taco (served with tomatoes, lettuce, and avocado), the Shrimp Taco (topped with tomatoes, lettuce, avocado, and fresh cheese), and asada tacos with onions (opting out of cilantro).The flavors were just okay - the fish taco seemed to have been the best out of the 3 proteins, but I felt as if the tortilla could have been better.The tacos were made-to-order, but we didn't wait long. Service was friendly.We chose to sit at one of their tables located outside, but this seems to be more of a carryout place.+friendly service+mostly a carryout place+plenty of parking in the plaza lot

Good food, good environment with the worst service I've had in months. Came in and was the only customer. The guy was doing something behind the counter, saw me and kept doing it for 4-5 minutes. No big deal. Then he came up and said "sit where you want". Cool. So I took the to go menu I was looking at to finish deciding and he started yelling "don't take my menu". So I went back and put it back on the front counter just to have him bring me the exact same menu to my table. Weird thing to yell about. Ordered food, it was good. Went to pay, dude saw me up there, went to my table and grabbed my dirty dishes, went and cleaned them all(5-10 min) the came back to take my payment. 0 tip, won't ever go back.

If I could give less than a star I would. Cheese and lettuce on food does not constitute it as Mexican food. Definitely not Mexican food. Not authentic, nothing to rave about. Definitely disappointed. Was speaking Spanish with clerk and all of a sudden he doesn't speak Spanish, food was cold and bland, service was less than mediocre, looks like an outdated bodega.

Great service and very friendly staff. Also has some groceries and drinks. I definitely will be back

Walked in and we waited for about 3 mins before we were helped. Gentleman, named Robert was the host/waiter. Very nice and explained the restaurant to us and who owned it and how family oriented it is. Ordered the regular burrito, kids quesadilla with chicken, caldo de res, un taco de lengua, guacamole and queso. Despite it taking a little long for the food to come out, when it did- it did NOT disappoint. It was fresh, hot and the portions are huge for the amount it cost. There was flavor in every bite. The house salsas were very good, I enjoyed the spicy red one and the tang of the salsa verde. The meat in the Caldo was fall off the bone tender, I wish I got more veggies but it already came with so much, I just love veggies. The chicken in the burrito had so much flavor in it and my husband tends to be skeptical on trying new places and he said we'll definitely be back! The tres leches cake was so good, we ate it before we remremembered to take a photo. Robert also gave us some Mexican candy to try as we left the establishment.Also, there's a store in it to browse at things if you wanted to.
