Just moved to the area and wanted to look for Filipino snacks. A lot of their stuff has no expiry date or they sell expired stuff :( (5 months past expiry is exploitative.) Its not worth driving back to get a refund so this was just a waste of time and money. 1 star for how much stuff they have in the store but Buyer beware.

Great spot for them Asian goodies. I swear this hole in the wall has all the things we don't usually see at our super markets and so what but it's small but so many options can't miss out for some fresh dishes or even bakery items that are to die for

Every time we passed by the complex where Nick's Oriental Express Grocery store, I've wondered what they are selling. Until one afternoon after we got boba teas, we decided to go in to see. Nick's Oriental Express is a smaller Oriental store compared to the big grocery stores like Emart and Grand Mart. While those big grocery stores are selling mostly East Asian products (Chinese, Korean, and Japanese), Nick's sells mostly Filipino products. As a Filipino, I got excited because they were selling a bunch of Filipino foods that i haven't seen since I left Philippines.Other than the Filipino products, they have a little restaurant where they sell fried fish and Filipino entrees. I ordered Chicharon Bulaklak, which is a fried pork ruffled fat. It was costly. I was a bit disappointed that it was chewy instead of crispy. I think because they didn't slice it into smaller pieces when they fried it. Other than that I was still excited that they are selling fried fish (per pound). The store was clean and bright. Some staff were friendly and some were not. As for the prices, it was a little bit more expensive than most Filipino stores.I will definitely be back when I am in the area.

Friendly aunties/lolas and uncles/lolos. Fried and fresh seafood. Produce, including bittermelon! Homemade desserts right when you enter. Has all your typical oriental goods.Prices are fair. Actual store is jam-packed with offerings and aisles are tight. Nothing that bothers me. Although the space is quite small (relative to all the goods there), I appreciate how the owners organized it, creating mini departments within.Always able to find just what I'm looking for. The exact reason why always come back.

I bought a pound of chicharon bulaklak and it tasted fishy, so i called the store to let them know that they might have mistaken of using the fish fry oil to the meat or whatever and the guy that answered told me that it's normal & they do it all the time. I wasn't even disappointed before i called but furious after talking to the guy.well that be my last hard earned dollar spent to that store for sure.

I bought a seasoning and its already expired 6 months ago. This is not my first time bought something fromThis store thats already expired. The first time i bought the expired food. I even talked to lady thats it's expired. And the next time i went to their store still in there. I only buy on this store if i really dont have time going to other pinoy store. But if its not raining or i dont need it right away. I rather buy to other store. It seems they dont care about the quality of their products. If i can give it a zero i'll give a zero.

I got off work from a night shift schedule I was craving for Filipino goodies. I saw their website and maps It states in there that they open at 0800. It's pass 0800 already and yet THEY ARE STILL CLOSE. Such a disappointment.
