Newland Pub and Grill

Wow, we almost passed this up. It's a cute, country diner with food made from scratch. The waitress was prompt and she cleaned the restrooms after the lunch crowd left that's a big deal to me. The food was good. The coleslaw was the big winner, you could tell it was made from scratch. It's down a star because even though it's the ole country diner, it could use some paint and cleaned up a bit outside. Maybe it's what keep it a local secret.

Driving by building for years Yes today it open Cold Beer Hot Ham and Cheese it does not get better than this Don't drive by STOP if not U will be sorry!

I wish I could give them 5 stars because I like their food but, the customer service can be off at times. Ex: I ordered some food to get delivered, paid over the phone and gave my address. A hour and a half goes by and no food. I called them and For some reason... they were unable to find my address. Even tho this wasn't the first time they delivered to my house. They tell me they'll get the other delivery guy to bring it out to me. 15 minutes later, the food arrives. I say to the guy "that was quick, I'm assuming y'all didn't remake my order" he says "they freshened it up before I brung it"..... I don't even know what "freshened up" means when it comes to food but I was so hungry I didn't even care and the food was still good. Besides things like that happening, I'd still recommend them.

This was the first to try NPG since it was Squeeza's and before that Peggy's... We have heard from several folks that they are cooking a great burger and awesome fries!! We ordered the cheese burger with provolone, plain (we have the condiments and veggies at home) so that the bun was fresh when I got it to go back to the house... We got side orders of corn nuggets and fried mushrooms (breaded)... The chicken tender kids meal came with plenty of fries and an applesauce on the side... The burger was cooked perfectly, not dry, medium... The corn nuggets are obviously delicious but so are the fried breaded mushrooms!! The chicken tenders were a bit dry (smaller piece) so maybe lightly fried vs deep fried would be a better path... The krinkle fries actually could have stayed in the oil a little longer to give them a crunch on the outside, maybe twice fried would work better... Not disappointed at all for a great lunch!! The newland burger is by far the best. Huge burger done right with everything on it. Came with a side of fries done perfectly. I couldn't finish it all and I'm a pretty big dude. Will be back for the newland burger and fries.

Nice little roadhouse. The burgers are hand formed patties and the fires are hand cut as well. Nice staff and surprisingly good food.

probably the worst service of all time, if I had to guess unless you're a regular you're on the bottom of their priorities because the table next to us arrived, ate, and left before my parents got their food not to mention the server got my order wrong, but who knows if she got my parents order wrong too because we ended up leaving nearly 2 hours after we arrived with only one order completed. The food was admittedly pretty good, but with the music blaring at ear piercing volume I could hardly enjoy it. In conclusion, unless you've got tons of time to kill and some earplugs you're better off taking your business anywhere else.

Quick stop in for lunch, and exactly what I was looking for. Crispy fries, cold beer, and an outstanding double cheese. Great find!

Food was awful, service was awful, it wasn't very clean. We were hoping to find a little gem out of the way but it was literally frozen reheated food that was served cold and hard. So disappointed. We try to support local but this was a bust. It could be great if they got an actual cook in there and served real home cooked food!
