Service was excellent, the lady at the counter was so nice and helpful. The pizza was great love both the Hawaiian and Greek but the Greek was definitely my favorite. The crust could have been fluffier and more, it was thin and oily. Ambiance was ok it's like a little pizza store you stop in real quick and eat your pie and go.

There's not much to like here. The dining area is austere. Unfriendly service. The pizza tastes like cardboard with cheese on top. The large pizza says it's $22.99 but I was charged $26.99, which is a 17.4% tax??? I couldn't even get a receipt because their machine doesn't print. I have no idea why this place is rated so highly. I should have went to Dominos instead.

I wanted to try a new pizza place and this one is pretty close by so why not? I went the simple route and just ordered a large pizza half cheese and half pepperoni with an order of garlic knots. The garlic knots were soft but you barely taste the garlic and the pizza was ok. I wanted to love it and it wasn't bad, but I guess I was hoping for something more. I might come back and give it another try.

Oh did I want to love this place. The OV area of Norfolk is close to a restaurant desert, with several mediocre places (and a few shining stars). So when a NY style pizza joint opened up 2 weeks ago, close to the house, I couldn't wait to try it.It's a small restaurant - 7 tables inside. Since the tables were empty, we decided to eat in. You have to walk up to the counter to place your order. No big deal, we did, and while the girl at the register was nice, it was like she wasn't really listening. I ordered a side salad (with blue cheese) and Hubby tried to order a side Caesar. Nope, they don't do that - only the large size. Ok, so he said he'd take that. She then asked if he wanted Caesar dressing on his side salad. Nope - he wants the full one. Honestly though, if you make a full size, why not have a side on the menu as well?We also ordered garlic knots and a medium pizza with extra cheese and half pepperoni. As others have said, the only drinks are canned sodas, bottled water and 2 liters. We grabbed a couple of sodas and took a seat. Another couple walked in after us and asked for sweet tea. Nope. Hopefully they will invest in a tea maker in the future as they grow.We seemed to be sitting there for longer than expected, thinking how long does it take to make salads, when the girl up front called our name. The mystery was solved. She rang us in as a to go order, and everything was packaged up together. Oh well, we decided to take it home (it was rather warm in there anyway).The nice surprise was the side salad. This one is loaded with lots of fresh veggies - tomatoes, green peppers, cheese, croutons and even mushrooms. Hubby did get his full sized Caesar, but the dressings for each were pretty average. Pretty sure they aren't making their own. The garlic knots were huge, though more like rolls, but they were a little over cooked and crunchy. They also lacked flavor - we couldn't taste the garlic really at all. They were so dry, I added olive oil to them (good thing we were at home).The pizza itself is NY style with the chewy crust done just right. I was a little shocked at the lack of cheese (we always order extra cheese), so we checked the ticket attached to the bag and sure enough - she didn't ring in the extra cheese.Like I said, I want to love this place, especially since it is so close to the house and not a chain. We're going to chalk this one up to opening jitters (they've only been open 2 weeks). We will definitely give them a try again and hope for better results. One big suggestion, though - the menu is pretty big. I hope they stick to what they seem to know - pizza, salads and Italian dishes (can't wait to try those!), and leave out the burgers, fries and onion rings.

Great pizza at a great price! I was looking for a local place for something great, and stumbled across this gem in Norfolk! I had the Bianca Florentine, a sauce-less option. Three indicators of a great pizza are crust, cheese and sauce, but I won't be able to rank the sauce, sorry! The crust was a 5-star crust for sure, sometimes New York style pizza lacks structure, but this was a perfect consistency! And the cheese was the best, mixed fresh mozzarella, regular mozzarella, and a Parmesan combination, really great. On this stormy evening, the location seemed a little dark and desolate, so I ordered and then went and waited in the car, then they brought out my pizza to my car, in the rain! Thanks!Avoid the chains in Norfolk and try this awesome gem instead!

Customer service wasn't bad. Not sure how the pizza taste because it was $15 for a small so I didn't order that, but I ordered spaghetti with meat sauce and an antipasto salad. Highly disappointed. The food was very bland. &' the meat in the salad was not fresh at all and almost spoiled. My salami was turning green around the edges.. &' the ham looked like it was sitting for days. The lady at the front was sweet so I don't want to sound too negative but big thumbs down for the food! :\
