Amazing food, service, and atmosphere.The Empire State (2 fried eggs, pastrami, Swiss, and hash brown) on an onion bagel was superb. Cheesecake and coffee cake imported from Junior's NYC was perfect.I will be returning again and again.

I was super excited to try out New York Bagel Company. I love bagel sandwiches and was thrilled to see the variety of options (which made it difficult to choose) I ended up getting the Midtown which is two eggs, American cheese with your choice of bacon, ham or sausage and your choice of bagel. I selected the everything bagel. It was delicious and very filling. I would definitely recommend to try.

My grandson and I visited this establishment this morning. It was amazing experience , very welcoming , friendly and exactly what I needed being from Brooklyn , NY I have missed the bagels from back home, I also love their ice coffee, their sandwiches are amazing.Thank you Mr Charles for the slice of Coffee Crumb Cake it was amazing we will definitely be back soon. The drive from Virginia Beach to Chesapeake is worth the trip.

Delicious bagels! It's our new favorite bagel spot. They have all kinds of options. There is a lot of seating and the service is great.

I have only been here once, but New York Bagel Company lends itself to repeat returns. The obiance is okay and the venue is small, but the food is truly what elevates New York Bagel. Big portions and bold flavors.The sandwiches come on bagels or bread. I have had a pastrami sandwich with a runny egg, soo delicious. I Ave also had the lox sandwich. They both have their own names on the menu, but my memory is not great and I am too lazy to look them up. Suffice to say you can't go wrong ordering anything on the menu, including the sides.If you are going to order their sandwiches, just keep in mind, they are made for 2, so if you are moderately hungry, try to bring a friend to help you share the experience.Can't wait to return. The food is just that good.

Great place with authentic bagels from NYC. The bagel and cream cheese portion are huge for the price you pay. We get stuffed by one bagel. We only tried the blueberries, sesame and egg bagels and they were fantastic. This a good addition to Chesapeake and you don't need to go to NYC just go bagels

Wow! What a menu! First and foremost the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. It's always nice to sample something before buying. Fresh and hot Pastrami was given to us to try and it did not disappoint. It definitely pushed me into getting the 'Empire State' on a sesame bagel. Piled high and very tasty. I went ahead and added the crispy hash brown. The bagel was fresh and had a great "chew" to it. My next journey there will be trying out the NY Rueben. They've only been here for about 6 months, so those of you looking to try some authentic NY bagels or sandwiches, I highly recommend this place.

I am quite sure this is a nice establishment. 1) No food smell when you walk in. In most bagel places you smell it before you see it. 2) Staff chilling in the corner waiting for you to approach the counter. 3) Flies all over the strawberry and blueberry bagels. Just hopping around from one kind to another. Not one staff member noticed. So I left. If the staff is not alert to flying insects on or around food they cannot be trusted. The bagels for 6/28 should be discarded. Good luck with that.

New York Bagel is the REAL DEAL...... if you're looking for delicious bagels, mouthwatering corn beef and pastrami, you've come to the right place. If Charlie the owner is there , have him make you "The Pothole", it's not on the menu, loaded with corn beef, pastrami, slice of cheese with his special thousand island dressing on a soft piece of rye bread.....Outstanding Sandwich!!!!! Check it out, especially if your missing that NY flavor.

I ordered takeout today at about 1:45. !/2 lb of Corned Beef and 1/2 lb of Pastrami. I also got some bagels and cole slaw. 1) I received a "chunk" of very fatty pastrami. The ENTIRE bottom half was fat and had to be trashed leaving me 5 oz of eatable meat. I know true pastrami is usually fatty, but this was ridiculous. The wrapping was dripping with grease when I got home 20 minutes later.2) The corned beef was sliced in the wrong direction. It was cut with the grain instead of against it.3) Extremely high price for bagels. The going price for locally baked bagels is $2 or less, These were $2.50.I tried it once, but not again.Bagel Baker Deli had better meats and bagels.Yorgos has better bagels.
